Column Bodycon Dress

Loved this dress from first time I put it on. However after first wash I'm convinced it shrunk a little, even though I followed the washing instructions. Would have been five stars otherwise.

Please please more dresses like this in more colours . great fit, comfortable smart .sold out when I recommended it to friends, more please

Wonderful. potentially useful dress, saw online, just what I wanted; managed to track down the largest size offered in store - but still not large enough fit for me. M&S ... PLEASE ...PLEASE offer this fabulous useful dress up to size 20 or ideally 22 - just what we need - such a potentially useful beautiful elegant basic!!!

What a great and fantastically simple little black dress! The longer length is perfect and beautifully balanced by three quarter length sleeves.The neck line sits perfectly ,and the dress hangs well skimming the body. I really like the fact that there is no zip to distort the simple contour of this dress.The fabric is a good weight ,so no nasty gatherings or tendency to ride up. Dressed up or down its sure to have many outings! So pleased to find all the above in one great little dress. Well priced and certainly an all time favourite purchase.

I ordered this on line . It looked great on the model but thought it might not work on a much older and frankly less perfect figure . Well it's fab . The cut and fit are fantastic it gives me the illusion of a waist and the fabric is heavy enough to skim rather than cling to body .on a fat day I might wear it with an M&S shape wear slip to give a really smooth line . I love the length which is definitely below the knee on my 5'6" . Shorter ladies might find it a problem as I am not sure shortening it would work very well . Also well done for resisting the temptation of adding some completely unnecessary detail . Is it the best quality fabric in the world ? Probably not but it's £35 which in my view is a total bargain and I bought two !

Figure hugging little black dress for any occasion. Only one problem, hence 4 stars, very difficult to get on and off. Would have been much better fitted with a zip. Nice quality material, which would have been better for the winter months, other than spring. I am a 12 at top and 10 on bottom and size 12 just fitted. Will have to shorten, as too long for me. If you can get it on, I'm sure you will like.

I love this dress so much that I just logged on to order several more, only to be disappointed that my size is now sold out. M&S please RE-STOCK without delay!
