Crinkle Maxi Skirt

This skirt has to be the worst item of clothing i have bought from M&S. The fit and length were fine but the quality of the product was very poor. The fabric was very thin and although described as a crinkle skirt the crinkle was of the extreme, it looked like it had been screwed up in a drawer. So sorry but this skirt was definitely returned.

I have been looking for a self coloured maxi skirt for quite sometime. When I saw this initially on the hanger in the store I was not too keen however I decided to order it. When I tried it on I completely change my mind. It is really great. Unfortunately I ordered the longer length and at 5 foot 6 inches it was just too long and I have to return it to the store. I was however lucky enough to order the shorter length and I pick that up tomorrow.

...too long. I bought my normal size and the longer length expecting a maxi, but hangs on my hips as it does on the model, but this makes it drag on the floor on me , I'm 5'5'. Sadly currently out of stock , hoping for more so I can try a different length or size. The material is chiffon, I think it's lovely and floaty, agree with comments about the unnecessary belt, it's ok but I wouldn't have chosen it and would prefer to pay a few pounds less. M&S seems to have a passion for over embellishment.

this skirt is super lightweight.. will not require ironing and is a lovely navy blue... looking forward to taking it on holiday.

Finally, a navy maxi skirt that is light weight for summer and easy to pack. The material is a bit on the scratchy side as mentioned in other reviews but this doesn't bother me. It is a bit pricey but the fit is good and the length is right for me so will likely get a lot of wear out of it. The belt is pointless and is not necessary but can easily remove the loops and wear without.

Lovely skirt, i wished they would do shorter lenths, a little on the pricey side but keeping anyway.

Glad I ordered the skirt for summer.More detailed then I exspected which was a nice surprise.

This skirt exceeded my expectations- perfect length and lightweight material.Ideal for a hot Summer evening! The belt was quite unnecessary ( and made me look fatter!) so I would have preferred a slightly cheaper skirt and no belt!

This skirt is easy to wear, cool and a good length for taller customers, But why the belt? I wouldn't choose it and resent paying for an unwanted accessory. I prefer to personalize clothes myself. .

A plain navy skirt for summer is so useful when you have a lot of patterned tops so this caught my eye especially as I really like the crinkle design. However, the material is quite disappointing, feeling rather like nylon. The care label also says "twist after washing" so does this mean that the crinkles will drop out with washing or wear? The fit on me is perfect being almost to the floor and in other ways it is just what I need and I even like the belt, but I am in two minds about this at present because of the cheap feel of the fabric.
