Daisy Print Shift Dress

I love this dress! Simply styled yet looks more expensive than its price tag - I got a further 20% off in the recent promotion too which was a bonus! Perfect fit and at 5' 2" falls just on the knee on me. However, I can understand the comments from other, taller, reviewers re the length. I can remember not so long ago M&S offered a choice of lengths (standard and long) for most of their dresses - I'm sure there would be even more satisfied customers should this option be reinstated.

This is a pleasant dress to wear, and has been much admired.

I ordered a size 16 , when it arrived it looked more like a size 20!!

I ordered this dress because I loved the print. However, it was too short i.e. above the knee rather than just on the knee and, as usual, there was insufficient hem to simply let it down. At the moment, I seem to be returning more items than I keep due to quality and/or fit. Come on M & S, let's have more style and substance. Not all older ladies want frills and fancy buttons. More stylish colours would also be appreciated.

This is a lovely summery dress and I can't wait to wear it! this style, with the side dropped pockets, is very flattering making your waist appear slender. I ordered 12 and 14 as I am in between the two sizes -the 12 was perfect. I would like to add M & S you do lovely dresses I have my eye on another one but it says 'sold out' could you please remove when this happens as I keep going into try to order it. Thank you.

Very nice dress will get lots of wear from it. I am 5ft 2" and the dress falls to middle of my knee which is just right for me but could be too short for those who are taller

I agree with your previous reviewers, this is a pretty, easy to wear, flattering dress. Nice pattern and fabric. I tried it on in store and would have bought it like a shot if only it had been about 3 inches longer. As a "mature" lady with knees like a retired, injured footballer I know that they have to be kept covered at all times as they are not a pretty sight to put it mildly. Please do a "long" version. On another topic, please consider making a plain swimsuit with crossover straps or a racer back - can't find one anywhere this year apart from Speedo whose suits are more for the athletic than mature figure.

Very pleased with this dress, lovely soft fabric which drapes well and will be ideal for summer. Have just ordered a similar one!

This arrived today and I was delighted with the print. The on-line picture is very accurate. I thought at first that it would be rather sack-like when it was on but this is not the case. In fact, it fits me very well indeed. It is a "relaxed" style which I like and the pleats at the front give it shape while flattering the figure. The viscose material means that it drapes nicely too. As for the length, it is just below my knee (I am 5ft) which is fine for me as I am a more mature lady!!! I am sure that I will get a lot of wear from it in the summer as the looser fit will be cooling. Pleased with my purchase.
