Velvet Pencil Pleat Temperature Smart Curtains

Great curtains, lovely rust colour which goes well with light grey walls in my bedroom. I was worried that the colour would be too dark but surprisingly goes well with a broad range. I am pleased with how they keep light out on sunny mornings, I thought that I would need to add black out lining but I may do so in the winter to add to their thermal capacity. I bought in the sale and am very impressed with the quality. I deducted one star as I feel that the pleats on top aren't as 'full' as I would have liked.

My curtains arrived in their original cellophane or plastic wrappers which contained the curtains wrapped tightly around cardboard inserts intended to make the packages square and compact. Unfortunately, as shown by my photographs, the way these curtains were packaged by the manufacturer resulted in in real damage to the fabric. These are not crease marks but actual damage to the fabric. I emphasize that this damage was due to the way the curtains were packaged during manufacture and are NOT due to damage in transit. The folds and creases and fabric damage are due the wrapping of the curtains themselves and my comments are therefore general and generic and are NOT 'shipping or fulfilment focused' as suggested by the M&S moderator. This is an issue about the way the curtains were packaged by the manufacturer and is NOT about the way the curtains were shipped. The fabric itself is quite lightweight and flimsy and I would not have thought they were good value for money. On the basis of my own experience, I would not recommend these curtains.

Beautiful curtains, soft toy touch and hang beautifully.

I checked many options at varying prices. Im glad i found these. These curtains are so soft and beautiful. They arent thick and chunky like some velvet curtains. You could almost wear them. Champaigne is a soft creamy stone which is what i wanted. Paired with black out lining, they are perfect and very affordable.

Beautiful curtains. Amazing quality. I am thrilled with these curtains, so much heavier and softer than I imagined. Very thick and quite heavy so hang well. I ordered champagne and I love the colour, I was worried may be hallowing but not at all.

I bought the largest size champagne colour. I carefully read the reviews before purchasing but was unprepared for the shocking quality of these curtains. At this price point I expected much better. They are flimsy, thin (despite being thermal, velvet and lined), with light penetrating through the fabric when hung, they are creased and marked all over. It actually looks like someone has trodden on them in the factory before packing because I don’t have shoe prints to match the marks present on the material. I have spent time ironing them carefully and having hung them they still look like such poor quality, cheap and nasty curtains. Am so disappointed but cannot return as the cords have been tightened. Only when seeing them up with the daylight behind can you see how awful these are. Don’t waste your money, spend it somewhere else!

Very disappointing. These were creased so badly and despite being steamed the creases have left marks on the fabric. The tape was stitched too close to the sides so don’t fit the rail, having to pin in place. Unfortunately they are very flimsy, looking cheap and don’t hang well. As they are in a spare room, out of sight, they will do. The champagne colour shows all the creases,, maybe a darker shade wouldn’t. Would definitely not recommend these curtains.
