Longline Checked Blanket Coat with Wool

Really lovely cardigan but a bit limited in terms of what can be worn with it.

Very stylish and elegant value for money

I liked the look of the coat and was very pleased with it when it arrived. However, when I tried it on, it left bits of fibre on my black trousers - which I really don't like - and I found it very "itchy" on my arms - was wearing a short sleeve blouse at the time - so I had to return it. Disappointed as I really liked the style. Having said that, as it is a rather long coat, I would have liked the option of a Petite version.

This can be worn with a dress for the office or with jeans for a smart casual look, wonderful

Oh my goodness, I LOVE this coat so much. I wanted a coat to make an impression in, and this is it! I ordered the medium. I am a size 12-14 and this size is generous on me but means I can wear it with a sweater when it's cold. I am tall, 5.8" and length is perfect (calf). Doesn't feel heavy, but it is so warm and cosy. Looks fab open or tied with the faux leather skinny tie. My favourite wardrobe item by far. Goes with so many things. Colours gorgeous. And as for the previous review about the stripes making you look wide, I don't agree. It is incredibly flattering. So glad I bought this, even happier I had 20% off. Love love love love!!!!

I really loved this coat on the shop dummy. The colours were lovely, but unfortunately when I put it on I looked like an enormous square - or rectangle I should say. I'm 5ft 5" and an average 12 ( a bit busty with not much of a waist if I'm honest). This looked yuk on me both done up ( brown paper parcel) and open ( a hobbit with huge shoulders) it also came down to my ankles! A shame as I'd seen it on others and it looked nice. Going back tout suite.

THIS CAUGHT MY EYE IN THE STORE WINDOW DISPLAY , AND I HAD TO HAVE IT....SO I BOUGHT IT !! I AM EVER SO IMPRESSED ,IT FITS BEAUTIFULLY , LOOKS GREAT AND IS SO COMFORTABLE AND WARM.YAY!!!

The arrival of this coat was much anticipated. However, unless you are six feet tall with a bmi of less than 18, this will add at least 30 lbs to your frame. The sizing is huge and the dark stripes are in totally the wrong place - at the point where the upper body and arms are at their widest. I ordered a large, to allow for Winter layers to be worn underneath, due to being a size 12/14 and just under 5ft 6ins tall. It drowned me completely and I could see that even returning it for a medium would not have improved the situation. It's a shame as it has the makings of a stunning coat if a little more thought had gone into the design stage and I will be returning it for a refund.

Above item was just what I was looking for. however medium just too snug but large massive! What a shame they were not individual sizes? Seem to be selling well in store but missing people like myself who are true to the high end of each size group
