Jersey Maxi Skirt

Thin tee-shirt type material, very crushed, more a dark grey than black, almost see through. Fit was fine but not a good product. Maxi black skirts are great - I'd not go out of the house wearing this product and wouldn't even want to wear it in the house! More like the material from a nightie! Great shame and missed opportunity - there's got to be a market for folks wanting a good quality skirt for day or evening wear, and this was not it. Took it back to the shop!!

I am an M&S size 8. Bought the size 8 and it was much too big. Could not get a smaller size as it is now out of stock, pity I would have liked to own one!! Returned for full refund.

Lovely and cool but on the large side so ordered smaller size and that's fine. Might be a bit long for some-I am 5'7"and it's just right.

I first bought this skirt a few months ago in black and navy in a couple of sizes. Both navy skirts were navy and of good quality fabric but the black ones were like two different skirts. One was jet black and of good quality fabric, exactly the same style and finish as the navy ones. The other was lighter in color and made of thinner fabric with a different finish to the waist band. I returned the lesser quality lighter shade of black skirt and thought perhaps I had just received the wrong skirt by mistake. As I was so happy with the jet black version of the skirt I really wanted another one as long skirts in this style are hard to find but sadly having ordered again a couple more times the same inferior quality skirt was delivered and subsequently had to be returned. Very disappointing.

Just what I wanted, a black maxi skirt to wear with vest tops. Very happy with it, just would have liked a petite option so I didn’t have to hem it.

I bought this skirt with trepidation following the appalling reviews on here. Glad I bought it, it's lovely. Very few long jersey skirts around. Yes the material isn't substantial - but it's a jersey skirt so feel that's to be expected. It's pretty long -I'm 5ft 6, so I'm not too small but had to get it taken up by an inch, or it would trail on floor (if I hadn't had to do this I would maybe have given it another star).

Perfectly nice skirt (though a long length would be a nice option for us tall ladies!) but terribly overpriced for what it is. I might pick it up again if it ends up in the sale at some point, but certainly not worth its full price tag so it'll be getting returned

Very disappointed in this skirt. I didn't mind it being black but thought the colours would be way more vibrant. Very dull especially for.the summer.

I ordered 5 full length elasticated waist skirts size 16 long. There was a huge variation in actual sizes of the different skirts even though 4 were of identical styles.

I ordered 4 of these skirts in different sizes in black and navy to try on at home. I was surprised that every skirt was different, the navy and the black were both different shades and the fabric was wildly different with each skirt. Some thin, looked faded and cheap looking. Luckily the size I needed in the black skirt was a thicker material and better quality, but still over priced at £25. If I were buying again I would definitely buy in store or order a few to compare the quality.

Colour dull and uninspiring, looks great in photo. Fabric thin and waist band wrinkled and didn’t lie flat. Ordered in black as well, that one fitted , the patterned one much to big. Poor quality , cut , and was returned

Ordered online - to collect in store. Notified 3 days later it was ready for collection. I have bought this for work, so wanted it lightweight and comfortable, it ticks all the boxes, although a little on the long side - I'm 5'3", I have washed it in normal washing machine temperature, and it is fine - no mis-shape or colour fade. Would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable and versatile to either dress up or down.

I love this skirt! It's light and comfortable to wear. It's really good for the money too, especially as I got 20% off too!
