PLUS Round Neck Skater Swing Dress

I needed a basic black dress to wear under a gown to a formal event last week in one of the Cambridge colleges. I've been teaching in Cambridge for a couple of terms and whilst I have several LBDs at home, I needed one here at short notice. This fitted the bill perfectly! It's classic, well-cut, basic shape, and heavy matt jersey with just the right degree of stretch make it seem far more expensive than it actually was, and paired with a rope of pearls,sheer black tights and heels it won compliments. I'm not sure that it could resist a lot of laundering, or even friction from, say, a shouldrer bag because there is already some very slight bobbling. But, hey, I got a simple, comfortable, flattering Little Black Dress delivered overnight to my hotel at an unbelievably low price. I can't expect longevity.

IThe fabric is lovely not clingy or see through but the style is a bit off ,which is a shame .The neckline is very high which emphasises a short neck,the sleeves are very full which adds width and it's too long to be worn as a tunic top .(I am 5ft3 ).

Such a comfortable dress/top that will be useful to wear for housework or shopping, even lunch out with the addition of a scarf or necklace.

Good staple for wardrobe. I have a short body so it sits a little low causing it to be tighter around my bottom. I have pulled it up a little and will tighten with a belt. Good quality, good value for money.

This is a really nice tunic/swing top, Nice material, but could do with a slightly lower neck. At the end of the day I was pulling at it as it was just too high round the neckline. Even so it is still a nice top and good value for money

This didn't look right at all. A bit frumpy but with young style, flouncy short sleeves. For me it was too long for a tunic but too short for a dress. Sorry, I had to return it.

love this dress although not so keen on the sleeves. More colours please. Also would like more stock in longer length in larger sizes always sold out

So pleased I purchased this dress, had quite a few comments and I feel really good. Cant want to wear it again out to dinner tonight. 30D Tights and boots/heels.

The dress was exactly what was expected - and is a versatile addition to my wardrobe.
