The fabric is extremely heavy though.

This is a lovely coat, great colour but returned as too long & heavy for me

The military style of this coat and lovely bright blue colour are perfect for me, and it's so rare to find something that is just that - the perfect coat. So it was with some trepidation that I bought it online as I thought there was bound to be something wrong with the fit and I'd have to send it back. But, luckily for me, there wasn't! This will be a great long-lasting addition to my wardrobe, although to be honest I didn't NEED another coat! Light enough for the in-between seasons, although it's probably too light to wear in the coldest parts of winter. My only reservation is that the fabric feels a little too synthetic - I'm particularly sensitive about how fabric feels. And I'm not sure if I would have paid the full price - I bought using discount vouchers. Other than that, an excellent purchase.

Great style in top. Too wide in hips for me and too long and the heavy stiff fabric doesn't drape well. Back vent comes up too high. Would suit a tall person better. So disappointed as it does look very smart on hanger!

Lovely colour great fit well done M&S

I saw this coat online and thought it looked really smart and as they had a one day offer I ordered it. I read the feedback and although I am a ten I ordered an 8 which fits like a glove a ten would have been too big. I don't find it too heavy but it really should have been lined for a coat of that price however that is the only thing that is not 5*

I've unfortunately returned this coat. I was dithering about it, but decided to return it in the end. I was really excited when I saw it on the website as it's something that I've been looking for. The presentation box was lovely, but when I took it out to hold it by the hanger I suddenly realised how heavy it was! I bought it as I wanted something to wear for a trip to London, however there is no way that I could walk around in it. It's so heavy, even when you have it on and the weight is spread out across your shoulders. It's also not lined inside, which is a disappointment as its quite expensive for something that's not lined inside. It looks and feels like the inside of a wetsuit on the inside. It was also quite large, and the belt was slightly too high so it made me look a really strange shape. Sorry M&S. I've decided to go for a Mack instead and hope that I'll be warm enough on my trip :)

I didn't read the product details properly as I thought the material would be more like a Trench Coat but it is too heavy for me - beautiful colour but just not right for me as it made me look quite bulky and I am not a big lady, size 10 -12

Really nice coat, lovely colour. Heavy and good quality the only thing it's not got a separate lining which does not make the inside very appealing. Im not sure whether to return it or not yet!
