MODEST OUTFITS FOR RAMADAN (AND BEYOND)

From spring/summer parties to relaxed evenings at home, our specially created collection of modest clothing for women has landed just in time for the warmer months

Neutrals, done the modern way

During Ramadan and the later summer months, feeling comfortable throughout the day is key – whether you’re offering taraweeh or making your way through the last hour before iftar. Our new modest clothing collection features plenty of options that blend ease with modern style. Take this loose sweatshirt and pants. It’s perfect for work thanks to its neutral colour palette, features a lounge-style fit that still feels smart enough for office dress codes, and offers coverage at the neck, cuffs and ankle.

The all-day-comfort dress

If you’re keen on wearing something a little dressier than your PJs for suhoor, try this relaxed printed maxi dress. It’s a clever option that is not only modest (thank you, cuffed sleeves), but the billowing shape allows plenty of room for a big meal. The swirling paisley print sings of spring and contrasts against the pretty terracotta background, giving you plenty of layering options for spring and summer events. Add a white pashmina to tie the look together and slip-on shoes to remove if you’re attending mosque to share dates with loved ones.

Break your fast in style

No matter who you are or where you’re from, sharing meals with friends and family brings everyone together. This pretty cotton top and skirt are beautiful choices to make each iftar feel extra-special. The lightweight fabric is wonderfully breathable, with vintage-inspired broderie detailing at the sleeves and hem and covered buttons through the front. It’s fully lined for modesty with a high neckline and cuffed sleeves, but you could easily add leggings underneath if you prefer more coverage. Chunky heels work well with this look, but you could easily swap in strappy sandals. And the best bit? It’s perfect for Eid when dressed up with plenty of sparkly jewellery.
