This is your M&S Christmas feast, with all of the flavour and none of the fuss. Discover top picks in the Foodhall, plus simple recipe ideas and serving suggestions to make this year your easiest and tastiest yet

How to serve the ultimate Christmas lunch

Whether you’re feeding a crowd or planning a smaller gathering, catering for veggies, vegans or gluten-free guests, or going traditional, we’ve done the hard work for you this year so you can pull out all the stops, without all the fuss.

For the easiest and  most delicious centrepiece, our perfect turkey with herby butter, in store from 18 December, is succulent, easy to cook in just two hours, and spot-on every time – ideal if you suffer from ‘turkey terror’ when it comes to cooking your bird. Serve with our delicious pork stuffing wreath, made with leeks cooked in butter and white wine, our intensely-flavoured Collection gravy, cranberry and bread sauce – all available in the Foodhall.

For a vegan main everyone will love, our Plant Kitchen butternut, almond and pecan nut roast is a delicious combination of Christmassy flavours.

Something a little different? Try our Collection Christmas all wrapped up – it's Christmas dinner in a sausage! Featuring outdoor-bred pork stuffing and smoked streaky bacon, finished with a mulled cranberry glaze.

Just add a glass of your favourite wine, crackers and plenty of festive good cheer.

The perfect turkey

Avoid any worries about a perfectly cooked turkey this year with this guaranteed Christmas dinner winner.

We’ve done the hard work so you can relax and created the ultimate, spot-on-every-time turkey: succulent, stock-basted Oakham turkey crown, with a pork, sage and onion stuffing plus deboned, bacon-wrapped thighs.

Because everything cooks at the same temperature, this whole bird will cook to perfection every time in just two hours, so there's no need to worry about getting it in the oven at the crack of dawn. Rest assured, it’s a total game-changer.

Winning sides

Give your festive veg the edge with these clever hacks, and a little help from our Cook With M&S shortcuts.

For melt-in-the-mouth carrots, drizzle in our Cook with M&S honey and clementine glaze before roasting. Serve with charred clementine wedges for squeezing over.

There’s no need to cross your sprouts - this is actually an old wive’s tale! Simply steam or char in a pan, then serve tossed in butter and lemon juice with a scattering of our Cook with M&S crispy onions for extra crunch.

Toss your parsnips in our Cook with M&S roast seasoning, made with semolina for crunch and a hint of mustard for extra flavour. For extra indulgence, serve with a dollop of our Collection truffle mayonnaise.

The ultimate roast potatoes

It wouldn’t be Christmas without roasties. Follow these handy tips to make yours perfect every time:

- Peel and parboil your potatoes, then shake in the colander when you’ve drained to fluff up the edges, creating more surface area to help them crisp up.

- Allow the potatoes to cool completely while you heat some neutral-flavoured oil in a roasting tray in a hot oven.

- Tumble the potatoes in the hot oil with a generous sprinkling of our Cook with M&S roast potato seasoning, then roast until golden and cooked through. Be sure to give them plenty of space in the tray to allow them to go golden all over.

- Short on oven space? Cook your roasties as your turkey is resting.
