Linen Rich Printed Maxi Beach Skirt

Lovely lightweight skirt, nice design, fits well with elasticated waist.will be lovely for holidays, just a bit long for me at 5ft tall, just needed taking up a bit.

Lovely skirt, great fabric - linen lookalike and unusual patten. Size 8 and 5ft small the skirt is just above my ankles. I think it would have hung better with less gathers from the elastic waistband making it flatter round the hips and tummy area. That said I enjoy wearing it and have had compliments.

Flattering shape. Wonderful fabric. Possibly a tad bigger than expected but still a go to and favourite easy summer skirt to throw on

As in a previous review this skirt is much more than a beach skirt. I will not be wearing it on the beach but I shall be wearing it for going out. It is very comfy and I also had to go down a size, which is very unusual for M&S recently as I find their sizing to be coming up very small. Fingers crossed that M&S are getting their sizing back on track.

This is described as a ‘beach skirt’ which doesn’t do it justice. I will be wearing this lovely skirt a lot. The cotton- linen material is light but absolutely not flimsy. It has a soft, lightly textured feel and it doesn’t crease. As someone with actual hips I am wary of gathered skirts, but the shape of this skirt is flattering. It’s fun to wear a full-ish skirt for a change. The fulness starts from low hip. Technically this is a tiered skirt, but in a different way from the current and rather cliched style of tiers. I like the retro pattern and colourway - a welcome change from florals. A slightly 50’s vibe perhaps but bang up to date. The length is a good midi on me (5’6”). The waistband is comfortable. I am often a size 16 in M&S clothing but the 14 fits perfectly.

This skirt is very well made and the material good quality. The skirt hangs well and is priced reasonably.
