PericconeTasty red wine
Yes, I recommend this
I found this in store, reduced by a third, and decided to try it. Its colour is deep and the taste is fruity and interesting. I’ll go back and get more, if I can!

Bitter
No, I don't recommend this
There are conflicting reviews regarding this wine, but I decided to try it due to its silver medal, what a disappointment It was un drinkable, the reviewer who said it has a bitter aftertaste is completely correct, never again, should have stuck with the primativo

A dissapoitment
No, I don't recommend this
This wine lacks any real fruity flavour and has a noticeable bitter taste. Not good value at anything over £4 a bottle.

our in-your-face house red
Yes, I recommend this
We buy a dozen and more bottles if this is on offer, when it is splendid value for money (still good when full price). The website description is spot-on. Not a restrained wine, instead hugely tasty and enjoyable. We regularly recommend it to friends.

Curry?
No, I don't recommend this
I usually love Sicilian red wine and this bottle states 'aromas of loganberries, cherries and sweet spice' but my overwhelming impression is of curry. Very disappointing.

A Sicilian delight!
Yes, I recommend this
We really enjoyed this wine - and with 5 bottles still remaining - will continue to do so!!! Full flavours without heaviness - it went well with a rich pasta sauce but would go equally with roasts or casseroles. Very good value in the sale !!!!

Rustic Chic
Yes, I recommend this
A remarkably classy little number from Sicily. Yes, it's smooth, but it also has character. The lifted berry nose reminds me of McLaren Vale Shiraz. I like the description of 'beery' as there is something a little spicy and hoppy in here. Even better on the second day. Great fun, yet not entirely unserious. Will be back for more.

Try this exciting Italian wine
Yes, I recommend this
I always like to try new grape varieties and was intrigued by this Sicilian example. Its been likened to Barbera but I think its unique. Its got a great intensity of aroma, great structure (good with food), lovely red cherry flavors and its fresh and inviting. Great for the summer too. I would definitely recommenced this as a must try wine.
