Jersey Wide Leg Trousers

My wife has osteoarthritis and her legs swell at joints she also has limited movement thees trousers are perfect they fit well they are heavy enough to help keep her warm when sitting in her mobility scooter she now has 4 pare but finds it difficult finding the short fit in stock

These are nice heavyish weight quality fabric trousers. The waist is a bit wide though. My pet hate with a lot of jersey trousers is the way the elastic is half-heartedly sewn in and left unfinished. It tends to turn up and won't lie properly. The waistband is not stitched down. This way of attaching the elastic also makes it extremely awkward to try and adjust the waist to fit if it's a bit wide. The medium was out of stock so I had to buy the long and they were about 8" too long but I turned them up no problem.

I have two pairs of these trousers as they are very comfortable for wearing at home or at weekends when out and about doing the shopping and running errands. I don't think I would wear them for the office or on a night out but I would recommend them as a comfortable casual pair of trousers. I clearly loved them as I bought another pair. They wash well and only need a light ironing as they retain their shape well and don't crease too much in the wash. The material is a heavy weight and good quality.

Love these trousers, very flattering fit. Smart enough for work but can also be used for a more casual look. Wash and dry really quickly so ideal for us busy women.

I Purchased Online 2 pairs of trousers because the size advertised was 22 x SMALL length just what I wanted, but they were far too long when I tried them on. I asked an assistant why they were so long and I was told they were for people that wore a two inch heels!! I will now have the added expense of paying to have both pairs of trousers taken up. May I suggest that your Ladies trousers SHOULD have the inside leg measurement on the label and also show it Online, perhaps then I could buy trousers in the size 22 x 27"inside leg length. It's quite rare to find M&S ladies trousers in size 22 x small length. I liked the material and the waist fitting Thank you

I had been buying what I cold the "old model" for years, as they were perfect for work. But since they don't seem to make them anymore, I chose the next best thing. Good thing I checked the reviews first and ordered them Short, because they are disproportionatedly long. The waist is also so high it sits right under my bra. The fabric is so light, the wide legs move around too much. So as you walk, the ends ruffle and wave, exposing your ankles. So you might want to make sure you wear cute socks. The fabric is also clingy and thing, so around the thigh and buttocks area, it shows every bumpy corner. So I can only wear them with long tops. The one thing positive about them is they are, indeed, comfortable. They're awkward, but give you free movement. So for a blue collar job they do the trick. Won't be wearing them outside work, though. I am disappointed with M&S, as the quality seems to drop yet the prices go up.

I have four pairs of these trousers now and have been very happy with the quality and fit would definitely recommend them. a happy customer.

I have owned about 20 pairs of these trousers over the last few years, they are the only ones I wear for work as they are so comfy. Now, I don't think I have shrunk or lost weight (I wish!) but these trousers are suddenly very baggy and way too long for me. I am 5'10" and even the medium length has had to be taken up. Also, I am wearing the waistband just below my bra line - not at all comfortable. So, yes, they are great trousers, but maybe it is time to size down. Or M&S could just get their sizing right!

Way to big and long I always order med but there 3 in to long, for £25 there very expensive as there thin and not what I thought they would be, quality bad , saying all that I am keeping them to lounge in.

I am 5' 9", and the Medium is plenty long enough. You would need to be very tall or wearing very high heels for the Long length option.

These trousers were far too long. I could have turned the hem up, but decided against it, as they didn't have pockets and I like pockets in trousers!
