Product Description

A rich and persistent Chablis with sumptuous stone fruit and floral notes over deeper toasty, salty and mineral layers.

Blanchots is one of the seven Chablis Grand Cru sites, its vineyard originally planted by Cistercian monks around the eleventh century. The site lies on a steep southeast-facing slope that catches the early morning sun and blesses the vines with plenty of sun throughout the day. Wines from the Blanchots Grand Cru tend to have unique characteristics and power with a typical mineral style on the palate. Brocard’s 2014 is no exception, a beautifully complex and harmonious wine. The wine is made using only natural yeasts. Fermentation is carried out in the winery’s state-of-the-art thermo-regulated vats, before being placed in French oak barrels for 14 months to develop its complex layers of flavour.
