Oversized Bouclé Funnel Neck Cocoon Coat with Wool

Went off some of the other reviewers and bought a size smaller than my usual (over generous sizes in coats seems to be the norm with M&S) which was a good move. It is a nice coat (or jacket as another reviewer pointed out) but because of the boucle I'm worried it might go tatty looking after several wears. Only time will tell on that score as it is summer over here in NZ so I won't be be putting that to the test yet. Overall though I'm happy with this item and would recommend to a friend.

I loved this coat from the very first time nice pattern and wonderfoul colour very soft and comfortable for everyday.

M&S describe this as a coat but I would say it's really a jacket (or maybe a car-coat?) Anyway, it's lovely! I love the fabric...a very soft bouclé material with wool for cosiness. I also love the soft shade of dark green which will go with so much in my wardrobe. Fairly loose-fitting, so room for a thicker sweater if required. Good length for either skirt or trousers/jeans & smart enough to be quite dressy. I really love this JACKET (not coat!) so well done, M&S!

Pleased with the coat as it is an unusual colour and it is soft and cosy. I like the adaptable neckline - it can be worn up when chilly or opened out on other occasions. Hope the fabric will wear well as it is so soft. Time will tell! It could be seen as smart or casual depending on what it is worn with. Slightly large to size as I had read on earlier reviews. I chose a size smaller than normal and it fits well.

I returned coat not because I didn't like it just that I'm to short for the style, pity I loved everything about it but it looked silly on me, bought per una coat instead. So I'm happy.

I am delighted with this green coat, it's just what I was looking for.The style is good for those windy days and the material is warm and cosy without being itchy which is very important to me. I like the pockets, so easy to put things in such as gloves and conkers! One small design point would be to have a stronger loop for hanging the coat on a peg. A very satisfactory purchase with good value for money.

Tried on a number of coats in store. This fits well and is suitable for an every-day coat which is what I wanted.

This felt good as soon as I put it on. Very cosy, warm and has a silky luxurious lining. Really liked the dark bottle green colour. I am 5ft 4ins and this coat just came a little above my knee which is the length I wanted. Looks much shorter in the photograph but then model is a lot taller than me. Could wear with jeans or smarter trousers or skirts. This coat does come up quite large though. I bought my usual 8 but it is very roomy around the bust and under arms. However, I loved it so will wear thick jumpers underneath! Good value as I bought on a 20% off day.

I bought this coat after seeing it hanging on the rail in the Bath store and thought "That's like the blue one I bought last year"! Last year's coat was great - I wore it and wore it, have had it cleaned and it is hanging in the wardrobe ready to wear again. But I have always loved green and this one just hit me between the eyes. So now I shall have two nice coats to wear this winter and, as I have said, all I really need now is the winter to come. The sizing is a bit big but that's ok as you can wear plenty of layers under it on cold days. It is a nice style and a good length - great with trousers or skirts.

This coat fis so nice and for the money it's great. I bought a size 8 and I am 5ft 5 and it fits perfectly. The colour is great too. Good for work or with skinny jeans and boots. I love it!
