M&S hoisin sauce
50 ml
M&S pure honey
1/2 tsp
M&S Chinese five spice
For the tangy apple slaw

Add the pork belly strips (4) to a bowl along with the hoisin (100 ml), honey (50 ml) and Chinese five spice (1/2 tsp). Mix well to coat, cover with cling film and allow to marinate in the fridge for 20 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C with the grill turned on.

Line a baking tray with foil and add the pork belly strips. Place these on a high shelf under the grill for 8 minutes.

Prepare a bowl of iced water and add the spring onions (3) and red chilli (1). Leave for 5 minutes so they curl up and then remove from the water.

In a bowl, mix together the spring onions, chilli, apples (2) and coriander (1 handful). Dress with the cider vinegar (2 tbsp) and season to taste.

Heat the bao bun (1 pack) according to packet instructions and fill each bun with a piece of pork and top with slaw. Serve immediately.
