Indian summer one minute, cold front the next. I’ve finally come round to accepting that autumn’s coming, so my days of waltzing around in a T-shirt are numbered. But I’m also not ready to dust off the chunky knits and coats. So this knitted polo’s the answer to all our prayers. Lightweight cotton means no overheating on sunny days yet it has enough substance to still beat the chill during autumnal evenings. But what I really love are the two rich colours it comes in – petrol blue and dark raspberry – both of which will enliven the greys, browns and blacks we’ll be wearing throughout the season ahead.
