I sent for these two dresses to choose between them but ended up keeping the two. I have worn the green one a few times. It’s comfortable and the fabric is really nice. I have yet to wear the red one. Because of its colour I am keeping it initially for Christmas. I feel both are so versatile I’ll get a lot of wear (and complements) from each of them.

From Fabulous to Frumpy

I was so excited to order this, but sadly I went from fabulous to frumpy as soon as I put the dress on. I'm 5'9" and a size 24 but the dress swamped me - there was just so much fabric. It fitted on the bust and shoulders but the pattern cut was all wrong elsewhere: the sleeves were voluminous and the skirt was so full I felt like an 80s toilet roll holder. Sadly it aged about 20 years so was sent back. 3 stars for high quality of fabric and workmanship.

The stress is beautiful. The stitching and fabric are very quality. The corduroy is very soft and has just enough structure to hang nicely. I carry my weight in my midsection and tend to shy away from belts, but this is quite flattering. I feel great in it and get loads of compliments.

This dress is a gorgeous colour and the material with its delicate embroidery is beautiful. But the fit was not good for me - it was too tight at the chest but then baggy and bulky at waist and hips where, because of the heavy material, it bunched up and looked like a dressing gown! Sadly it has to go back.

Delighted with this dress. Bought for winter. Material feels soft against skin. Good weight to dress which makes me feel warm & snug. Colour is beautiful, Great length and fit. Makes me feel ‘put together’ without any effort. Wish they did other colours in this dress. Love, love, love
