Loving this top lightweight easy to wear bought the skirt first had so many compliments when wore with 1 of your black t-shirts so decided to bought top too. Looks great together but also on its own with black trousers. Need more of this style of outfit M&S ❤️

Lovely two piece ..but check the arms!
I love this skirt and top and would give it 5 stars except the sleeves on the top are not the same on both arms....the left arm is long than the right. Unfortunately for me I had worn the outfit before I realised the problem so I was not able to return it. I was so keen on the outfit I bought another top and it too has slightly short and tighter sleeves on one side. This will be returned and I will have to see if I can get someone to do an adjustment on the original top..which will cost money I shouldn't have to pay. Marks and Spencers has really upped its fashion items in recent years but too many dresses are far too long unless you are quite tall, and as I have experienced, sometimes poorly made. Im not alone in the 'length' problem but the company doesn't seem to respond to the comments made in reviews.

A really nice fit - not too boxy and sits nicely. Yes you can see my midriff if I raise my arms in the air but that’s just the styling - it’s not cropped but it’s not for tucking in either. Lovely lightweight fabric, colour and pattern - as I said in my matching skirt review, it reminds me of a particular on-trend Danish brand (which I can’t personally afford). The only downside is the bottom hem which the check pattern looks a bit wonky against.

Apologies to previous reviewer but I found this top to be perfect length for me. If you are short (5’ 1”) this is a great length. I mostly find tops too long for me and so look out of proportion. It is also a useful colour and pattern, interesting and different but not too ‘out there’. Can’t wait to try it with the matching skirt ( hope they do short length). I’m not usually a big fan of three quarter length sleeves but somehow on this top they really seemed to go well. The sleeves are a little bit puffy but again totally in proportion. As soon as I saw it I knew it would be fab!

Why are all the newer (spring/summer) M&S womens tops (in the main) so short?? I’d love to buy this but the photo proves how short it is in the body - the 3/4 sleeves are the same length as the OVERALL length of the body! So, this is more like a crop top! What a shame as I’d have loved to have bought this top if it was say between waist & hip length! Can M&S rethink lengths of their tops please?
