Unfortunately the Strawberries I picked up on a Friday were inedible by Saturday lunch time. I kept them refrigerated but they were really dark and tasted dreadful when I got out to serve. They had all except a handful over ripened. I would not buy these again. Quick trip to Tesco and I was able to serve strawberries to my guests. Not impressed!!

Can't really go wrong with this item, however so many do. I suppose it would have been better to package it in a way that did not look like some strawberries were poured into a container and a tub of cream centred in it... then that is what it is supposed to be... I guess the only fault is that it could have looked more elegant, and less out of a box. Contents wise, flawless. Out of season also, so full marks for bending the laws of nature also!!

Good produce but be wary of portion size description. We had 60 guests, I bought desserts to serve 100, based on the website description, and we ran out with many people ( including myself and my husband and daughter) not getting any!!

You could buy the strawberries and hull them in ten minutes for half the price. However mine came with two pots of cream although to be honest you only needed one. I bought them for an afternoon tea so the black plastic tray looked fine on the table, but I was expecting something better as shown in the picture. Having said all that they tasted absolutely delicious and I removed the cream and decanted it into a jug and filled in the gaps with strawberries.The packaging was excellent and the strong plastic lid meant that I could place other items on top of the container in the fridge which, when considering everything else I'd bought ,was a great boon in keeping everything cool in August.
