The quality of stitching is very poor. After washing, the stitching was so puckered it took a long time to iron out.

I was looking for high thread count pillow cases to replace my previous 1000 thread count ones that after some years and countless washes had displayed some tiny wear marks. I haven’t had to use the M&S ones yet but they seem crisp and of suitable quality to last. I did buy them during a 25% reduction offer. As I could have found comparable ones at competitive prices online, I would not have purchased had there not been a reduction.

The pillowcase were fine but I also ordered pillows to go with them , you must realise the pillow cases aren’t much use without the pillows especially when their king size . You should have informed me that you had run out of stock then I would have cancelled the order in total !!

The pillowcases are true to size and have a generous internal 'flap' to hold the pillow in place. The frill and and edging give the pillowcases a neat but luxurious finish. They feel quite silky and smooth!
