Good quality summer socks. Light and not pressing too much at elastic level on skin.

Not good

Thin, unsubstantial and bigger than size would indicate so they sag at the toes

Almost the last of the cotton socks

M&s sells v few 100% cotton socks now. Only 2 or 3. I love 100% cotton socks as extras like acrylic, nylon and elastane are too hot. Cotton-rich is a euphemism for nylon or acrylic or both. Don't pull them on harshly and they don't rip. These are so smooth + high quality.

Bought as a present, so no actual feedback yet about what they're like to wear. Look and feel like nice socks though, but quite expensive - wouldn't normally pay this for socks.

It's hard to find pure cotton socks which my husband much prefers to a blend. I believe they are comfortable, so Christmas & birthdays sorted as they are the price of a small gift rather than an everyday item, in our household anyway, but he likes them and they don't irritate his eczema as much as a mix with synthetic fibres .

Bought for my husband who can only wear 100%cotton. Socks are great but downside is they don’t last very long! Become threadbear after a short life .

WAY TOO BIG !
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
These are lovely "summer weight" socks, very soft cotton. But i have had yo return them because they are more like size 12 shoe, i wanted size 9. I suggest you order a size smaller. The socks are nice for summer tho'.

Size isn’t correct and look tatty after wearing only a couple of times. Absolute rubbish

Comfortable Socks

Very comfortable summer & indoor socks, only quibble is as a diabetic these socks could do with a padded sole. Apart from that they are perfect.

Weird sizing

I’ve always been an M&S socks fan, sadly though I’m going to have to look elsewhere. These socks are really poor quality, in comparison to the same sock purchases of past years. The sizing is nowhere near, far too big with excess material at the heel. Such a shame, as M&S was the go to place for these items. Do quality control departments no longer exist?

100% cotton cannot be beaten. Been buying these for over 30 years, and barring minor design changes, the quality of the sock has stayed the same.

The material is absolutely fine. Socks are to fit sizes 6-8 1/2. My feet are size 8, these socks would comfortably fit a size 12! God knows what people with a size 6 do with the spare cloth - sail boats perhaps...

Too thin
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
I bought these for my husband because he likes 100% cotton socks and they are hard to find. I was was disappointed to find that they are very thin though. I don’t think it will be long before my husband puts a hole in them.

Thin but ideal for summer wear. Tops seem a bit tight but hubby seems to think they’ll be ok
