I love the style of these shoes as they hold your foot securly in place and look so good. Love the zip back, easy to put on. The ankle strap was a bit snug but that was down to my plump ankles not the shoe. I had the siver, lovely colour, not too shiney. Comfortable to wear with the spongy insole. Would recommend.

I struggle to find dressier shoes that I can wear. The double straps and the rear zip made these perfect.

I bought these in silver to wear to various Christmas occasions. It isn’t easy to find low heeled shoes that are really pretty so I am delighted that I found these at M&S!

These are just great fun. There’s something rather vintage and decadent about wearing silver Mary Janes and I love mine. I’ve worn them with jeans during the day and in the evening with a dress. They were a tiny bit big so I went down a half size. Love all the Christmas shoes this year, there has been a great choice.

Both beautiful and comfortable flat shoes!

Love these, I started off with a silver pair just to try them out - they’re comfortable enough to dance in and the ankle strap keeps the shoe on the foot. These shoes go with absolutely everything, Got another silver pair as spares as I know I’ll wear these again and again, also a black mock-croc pair for work. Very happy with these, and no, I don’t get a commission from m&s! Found them true to size, I take a 6.

Very pretty design but ankle strap was not adjustable and as my ankle is swollen at the moment they weren't suitable and unfortunately had to be returned. However they did make my size 3 feet look quite big!

These shoes are lovely and fitted my feet perfectly. However, as I have small ankles and the ankle strap was not adjustable, they looked baggy, I am hugely disappointed as I loved them otherwise. Is there a way to make the ankle strap adjustable?

It's so lovely to have found a pair of shoes that are stylish and dressy but without having a big heel. These are the perfect addition to my wardrobe and will be used to elevate an every day outfit but will look equally as stylish and add personality when dressing for an event. Although they are not leather, which is a huge shame as I'm sure many would rather pay a little extra for this, they are incredibly comfortable. I can't wait to get lots of wear out of these over winter but also through spring/summer next year. A really great design! The only thing I would say is to size down, I usually take a 7.5/8 and ordered the 7.5 to start but they were huge! I settled for the 7 but these still have ample room in them.

So disappointed with the fit of these lovely shoes. The ankle strap appeared to be positioned too low as the button on the outside of both straps rubbed against my ankle bone and was very uncomfortable. I appreciate they are called Ankle Strap, but I assumed they would sit just above the ankle. Such a shame

Very comfy ,easy walking shoes. Look smart with dress or trousers. Bit fiddly to get foot into ankle strap to get shoe on!

Either love it or hate it

Bought these in silver and the colour is fab. They are very bling, but also quite ungainly and clomping. A very odd mixture, which you will either love or hate. Unfortunately I’m in the latter camp and will be returning these shoes. On a separate note, the wide fitting makes them super-wide and loose, so if they’re your sort of thing I’d go down a half size.

Bought these for work because i wanted something a little different. Like the square toe and the mock croc type leather detail. The ankle strap is elasticated and cant be altered, which was fine for me but can see how it would be a problem for others. Shoe opens with a zip on the back so you can slip your foot in. All in all a good shoe if your looking for something a bit different.

I ordered these online. They are very attractive shoes but unfortunately the straps are not adjustable and were baggy on my feet. I imagine this design is to save money on construction.

Perfect with skirts or trousers. Far from being frumpy I thought the strap detail and patent finish makes these shoes fun and stylish. I have a narrow heel and have a problem with shoes slopping off my feet (unless I go down 1/2 size which is not comfortable). Straps do the job and look good. Wore them for 12 hour first time, really comfortable.

Saw a lady wearing some silver patent shoes and just thought "I need a pair" obviously lol. I looked everywhere and then found these. In a size 3 and so i struggle to be honest to find shoes to fit me. Marks and Spencers are fab for small feet. I love them . Being 51 i have decided that i will wear what makes me happy and not whats practical. Buy some and join me!

Fit for purpose

The shoe rubbed on my toes making them quite sore but will hopefully soften. Ankle strap looks good but doesn’t adjust and I have very thin legs and feet. Would have tried a smaller size but needed them quickly. Finding shoes for small thin feet was a nightmare on your web size as there were plenty for big, wide feet but VERY few for my size. Brilliant service on line and delivery thank you.

Disappointing...

Disappointingly mumsy and frumpy. There was a similar style in the summer which looked really good and the straps had buckles so you could adjust the width. These just look a bit dull and the straps are a fixed size.
