What a beautiful nightdress.it is indeed a luxury garment,we both agree the look and the feel is lovely. Marks and Spencer excel yet again.

Fine for what I wanted

I'll begin by saying I bought this when it was half price. The style is quite nice but the fabric is not of good quality and I would not have paid the full price for it. Sadly I have noticed a decline in the quality of fabric and cut throughout M&S clothing over the past couple of years....

I read the other reviews prior to purchasing this lovely chemise. Overall I believe this was very good value for money. A real satin chemise would cost three times as much. Don't agree with the comments that the material looks like rubber. Well done M&S

Would prefer about 3” shorter and a little more lace but it is so comfortable and looks and feels great. Has the desired effect :)

Ordered online I wouldn’t call it satin more like thin rubber.... very disappointed it’s definitely not a bridal chemise that’s for sure!!! I’m usually size 8 but read the reviews and went for the 6 fitted ok

I love this cami; it’s thin but warm & very easy to wear, wash & iron. I bought it in black & it makes me feel great. Would recommend.

Pretty style ruined by poor quality

No, I don't recommend this
Whatever finish has gone on this garment made it look like thin rubber and one of the bust darts made the fabric pucker. A great shame as a lovely style - sadly returned.

Bought this nightdress as i have had similar from M&S but the material was so cheap, the cut and the fit was just basic. Nothing flattering about it. I don't think you could get any cheaper material, the lace was of the tacky kind of lace that you see in much cheaper shops.. Not what you would expect for a Bridal Chemise . Ordered the 14 but was far too big, not sure if that was because there was literally no shape.

Didn't work for me

Straps being crossed over at the back made it difficult to get into easily. Also I found I needed them to be shortened considerably, which is very unusual for me, and that made the back gape even more. I bought size 10 after some deliberation because I don't like to be restricted to move in bed (usually between 10 and 12), but found this bigger than I thought especially odd with having to adjust the straps so much. Don't think a smaller size will help, so having to return for a refund. Given 2 stars to account for the decent quality of the fabric, but the sizing and cut was not right for me unfortunately

Straps take a little getting used to but sit on shoulders without slipping off. Very comfortable and nice length. Would buy again.
