Really surprised by this skirt. Wouldn’t usually buy this style but it was in the sale so thought I would try it. Fantastic fit, drape and length, Not sure about the width of the waistband but will put up with that because the skirt looks so nice. Only criticism, I wish it was lined!

Very pleased with my new skirt, fits very well and is quite slimming, has a wide waistband which is fine for me, but some people might not like. Lovely checked grey colours.

I thought this might be better in reality than online, but the colours were very uninspiring. I also hoped the skirt was cut on the bias which is very flattering, but it was the usual a line with quite a heavy waistband which I didn’t like.

Just right for me. Good fit, good length, different colour which I am happy with. Very nice for a change happy with the quality too.

I liked it but ...

I must agree with several other reviewers that the waistband on this skirt made it rather awkward to wear. It looked good on the hanger and I liked the general shape, but it definitely benefited from wearing a jumper over the waistband to hide it from view.

I really like the colour of the skirt and the way it hangs apart from the waistband which was too big and didn't fit close. The length was good. Fortunately I had it delivered to the store where I tried it on so didn't have to make a special journey but I was so disappointed.

Very disappointed ☹️ in this skirt? The waist was massive and the hips tight the length was enormously long. This was a size 16.

Would have preferred it without zip but looks good. Would have also preferred it a little longer but will be keeping it.

Exactly what I wanted , just like the picture , but would have expected it to be lined, so as it isn’t not really great value for money

Nice skirt - wrong fit

Nice skirt. Had to return as waist too big in relation to hips. Have had similar issues with other items in M&S Collection range. Per Una fit much better but lacks longer skirts for wearing with boots for older (75) person.

Love this skirt, it’s a nice weight so will be nice to wear in the Spring with Boots or shoes. Well done M & S.

It didn't hang as well on me as it appeared to hang in the picture. The waist band is very deep (like a cummerbund) so if you are wasp waisted it could look gorgeous, but otherwise it could be bulky . I also found the sludgy colours rather dreary. But I remember loving something similar when I was younger and I could imagine younger women really loving this skirt.

I have to say I was really surprised with this one.... this was recommended by M&S Online Try Tuesday stylist. Although I never wear midis, and A-lines, I found it very flattering (normal size 14, hour glass shape). It's not lined but hangs well and it's easy to style for office or smart casual.

The quality and colour of this skirt is good, flattering feminine fit, the only slight issue is with the waistband, fir some reason it’s bigger and roomier than I would have expected. It does mean that I could get away with tucking in a jumper though

Looks good but a few things wrong

The skirt looks good, especially with a camel sweater. The waistband is far too deep - half the depth would make it fit better around the waist. The side zip doesn't lie flat so a top needs to be long-line to cover the bump. The material is a little stiff and so doesn't drape well.

Puzzled!

This skirt is cut on the round. I first wore it with the zip on the side but the check pattern then looks straight on the opposite side. I then tried it with the zip at the back but it ruckled a bit and makes the check pattern straight down at the front but cut on the cross at the back. I’m really puzzled! I kept the skirt because I loved the colour and the fabric. The waist band is a little large. I’d be completely happy with it if I could decide where to have the zip!!!
