I am 5ft 10 in tall, normally take size 12 but ordered size 14 in this top. It is a close but not tight fit, comfortable to wear and has washed well. The length is at my hips, wish the sleeves were a bit longer but they should be fine for someone of average height. I would buy more of these in other colours, they are the good basic buy that l used to be able to count on M&S for.
