Living in a flat with part wooden floors, I always buy slippers that do not make much noise when walking about. These are perfect! I always used to buy the softer M&S ballerina slippers but these are more supportive so will last longer.

This is the third pair of these slippers that I've bought as they are so warm and comfy that I hardly know I'm wearing them and can curl up on the sofa without having to take them off. They have a good grip on the soles, but aren't suitable to wear outdoors. I also find that because they are a soft but snug fit, I have more stability when walking up and down stairs, as it's a bit like walking in bare feet and this is wonderful if someone is a little unsteady, either because of age or disability. I just wish M&S would offer these in a range of colours, especially at Christmas - Red or Black would be very popular in my opinion.

I haven’t got wide feet and a size 5 to 5/12 usually my size but reading the reviews I decided to go for a 6 which were a little tight on my big toe on my right foot.But it took a couple of days to wear my slippers in but now they really comfortable and really soft and warm in my feet.
