Bought these to go under trousers through the winter, as I find most trousers cold to wear. They could also be worn under a long skirt. The material is smooth and, I think, will not cling to the trousers. The body is a little long for me, but that is me not the culotte slip! and should be fine in wearing. The legs are below the knee on me. Colours are quite basic, white or fawn, but as they will not be seen, no problem to me. How they will wear and wash only time will tell, but as they are sold by M&S I anticipate no future problems.

These are absolutely brilliant under summer dresses when no tights worn, no more short type knickers plus petticoat just these. Have both colours and highly recommend although some shortening may be required if you wear shorter length dresses.

Really great product, I got the size 6 and it fits me really well. I ordered them to stop my summer trousers being seen through. I'm very happy with the fit and comfort.

Why have I not found this before? It’s so comfy and less restrictive than the ‘chub’ shorts. I have chunky thighs and was worried it would cling to them but the light material is prefect and feels soft under your dress. Have bought in both colours now.

The quality is good - these are a replacement for some I have worn out but they are too long to wear under most dresses. Great for under trousers and for mid calf dresses but would have preferred them shorter in the leg.

Bought for holiday abroad, under cotton dresses. Did the job but could really do with a redesign and have a cotton gusset in as other reviewers have mentioned

I purchased size 10 slips in beige and black. The black was larger round the waist than the beige, although hips and legs fitted the same. I took the black one in at the waist. Since I am under 5' tall I also had to take up the length of both. These are nice slips and I am sure I will buy more even though there were some sizing problems. The fabric is fine and silky and the slip fitted comfortably under linen culottes. It would be nice if these slips came in different lengths for shorter people.

Love culottes to wear under dresses. The material is so soft.
