Fabulous fit all over - more colours please
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
I have been looking for a comfortable, slim fit, high waisted pair of jeans for ages. I don't like to feel squashed into jeans - and if I have to fight to get into them [thinking of getting feet through the ankle bit, here] then that's the end of the purchase story. Other colour choice would be nice... Denim blue sold out...

I have had so many pairs of these jeans in different colours. Still great value and comfortable. Flattering fit. Come up slightly smaller than previous pairs .

Nice soft material, look smart and are comfortable. Skinny but not too skinny. I have one pair in black and one in the dark denim ( which is very dark denim) The waist seems smaller than the first pair of size 10s I bought a year ago so ordered 12s. Short length is suitable for me at 5’1’’

This is my sixth pair of these jeans. I have them in black, indigo and bright indigo. I’d like another pair of bright indigo but M&S don’t do that colour any more!

Autograph Black Skinny Jeans (Short)

When I first tried these on I thought that they were a little tight around the waist area compared to my other jeans from M&S, (the same size, length and style) but after wearing them for a number of days they felt more comfortable so it was possibly a difference in fabric which made them seem tighter than my other jeans.

Great jeans

Great jeans. A really good fit on me. I've bought them before and I know the knees don't bag easily (unlike the Lily jeans).

Smart black jeans

I am very pleased with these jeans. Excellent fit for my size (16 regular). They look smart and the fabric is comfortable with some stretch. Some more colours would be welcome.

Absolutely love these jeans. Great fit and length. Stay in place, not constantly having to pull them up. Pricey but worth it.

Love the style, material, weight etc. Everything about these jeans works. I’ve worn them for years in various lengths. Why are they no longer available?

This is my second pair of these jeans I’m 5ft 2in ,and the size 10 regular is a really good fit ,comfortable, easy material. Bought them when I had a sparks discount,so even better,as they are quite expensive. But worth it,they wash well and don’t lose their shape

Good fit

Pleased to be able to replace a well worn previous M&as pair of jeans. I had tried various other styles but went back to this style as the higher waist suits me better.

Sizing way out

No, I don't recommend this
Purchased these in black as I already have the indigo and they are good. The waist is a good 2 inches smaller so they do not even do up!! The waist is also 3 inches smaller than another pair of m&s jeans I bought last month. Complete waste of time and my 20% off voucher, what a nightmare m&s has become.

These are good quality if a bit expensive. I am petite and the size 6 short is just right for me .

Very unflattering as they wrinkle really badly. Colour is fine and size.

Bought in indigo and loved them so much bought a 2nd pair to put away, good fitting jeans are so hard to come by. I’m between a 14/16 so opted for the 16 in regular as I’m 5ft 7 and they are a really good fit, they can be dressed up or down but look especially classy with a crisp white shirt and blazer. Definitely would buy again.

I bought these jeans a few years ago and am delighted to find that they are still available and seem to be still the same great quality. My ’old’ pair are still in good condition and the colour hasn’t faded at all, which is why I have bought a new pair. Would definitely recommend.

Not skinny & baggy on the stomach, hips and thighs

They're just not skinny! They are also way too wide and baggy on the upper legs, hips and stomach areas, even though they're a little tight on the waist. Weird fit and not worth the money.
