Pure Cotton Ombre Lounge Sweatshirt

Bought this loungewear top along with the matching shorts in the grey colour. Looks lovely on as a co-ord, I’d prefer it a little longer in the body if I was wearing with jeans or trousers but otherwise fabric and the ombré effect is great with the shorts. Otherwise a nice loose fit.

Nice to have a V neckline, the material is not too thick so good for summer. I love the colour and the loose fit but I did go down a size as I didn’t want it too big.

Lovely set as I bought with the shorts. However, I find the top slightly long otherwise perfect.

Really lovely colour and love it’s a v-neck. It does come up big but I read the reviews and ordered my normal size and a size smaller. The smaller one fitted perfectly.

Nice sweatshirt lovely colour BUT absolutely huge I ordered sizes S and XS. But both were at least a size 14 also the sleeves were 2 ins to long, had to return both.

The colours and material of this lounge top are fabulous.

Material and colour is very nice, my only problem that is quite a short make. Even if you size up, the lenght isn't where I would prefer it to be.

Very pretty and comfy lounge shirt. I bought the pink which is as pictured. Lovely to wear on cooler days and nights. The fit is relaxed so size down for a snugger fit.

Top is a lovely colour, but I read other reviews about dye leakage and the item comes with a warning on it about this as well (imagine wearing it and getting caught in the rain!) I decided to try and resolve the problem before wearing or washing. I purchased some RIT Colorstay Dye Fixative and treated it and hopefully it has worked. I chose the sink method, so added the RIT Dye Fixative to hand hot water in a stainless steel sink (there are other methods, such as washing machine) then added the sweatshirt. You simply stir the fabric around in the liquid for 20 minutes, rinse then wash. Whilst the sweatshirt was soaking in the dye fixative, loads of dye came out and the water was bright pink. I then rinsed it in the sink and washed it in the washing machine. I kept an eye on the washing machine and the water only had a feint light pink colour, so it appears the dye fixative has worked or at least helped considerably. Even though there was a lot of dye that came out during the fixing process, the sweatshirt still remains vibrant pink ombre.

The set in itself is really nice. The shorts are a good fit but the top isn’t. I bought the medium which is the usual size but ended up having to buy a small and extra small for the correct fit. Disappointing as this was a birthday gift.

Soft and comfortable. Comes up big but could be slightly longer.
