Jersey Metallic Pleated Midi Skirt

Very classy looking skirt, lovely material the only reason I didn't give it top marks is the length. I ordered a regular thinking it would be calf length but its at my ankles & I'm 5'6"

this skirt is more maxi than midi. I bought size 10 L which was a perfect fit on me but longer than expected. It measured 90 cm from waist to hem. The product description above states that a size 12 measures 84 cm long. This shorter length would I surmise have fallen to a very elegant mid calf on me. That said, given that I am tall, I am very happy with the ankle length size 10 L. It is shimmery and flowing. And romantic and dramatic if worn over a petticoat by way of creating a fuller silhouette. Gorgeous!!!

I love the colour and swish of this skirt I bought the longer length simply because I didn’t know exactly how long it would be! Rather than send it back for the shorter version I have shortened it myself and it is absolutely fine. However, when the description says long or standard length an actual measurement would be a great help in determining which length to purchase.

It is a very nice skirt and fitted well but , although I ordered regular after reading the reviews , it still came down to my ankles . I am of average height and to my mind there is no way this is a midi skirt . I returned it

Lovely fitting, great length- just a really odd bronze colour

I bought this on a whim as I have never tried this style of skirt before. Also, being 5 ft 3 in, I wasn't sure if it would look good on me. It does looks really good, however and the material is lovely. I like the colour and also that it does not crease. Well done M and S.

Colour is more peuter And the long lengh sweeps the floor but a refeshing change in the pandemic

This skirt not only looks amazing whilst wearing but also feel so comfortable due to the lightweight floaty fabric combined with the elasticated waist. The floaty mid calf length of this skirt is so flattering and the longer length was perfect for me. Would I recommend this skirt... oh yes if you want a skirt that adds a little glamour to a day look that will still look amassing for a night out this skirt is the one is for you.

I’m 5’2" and usually M&S midi length is an acceptable maxi for me but this skirt, even in the regular was ridiculously long. I liked the metallic fabric and the rest of the fit was good but even though I’m reasonably happy to shorten most things I didn’t want to risk this so I returned it. Also I’m not too sure how ‘staticky’ it would be with tights (even with an underskirt) as some metallic fabric can be terrible.

The skirt is so swishy, I love it. Really nice shimmery fabric, but not too shimmery that it's over the top for day wear. So comfy to wear too.

Lovely skirt, flattering, good quality material which hangs beautifully and is a nice mid-calf length (I’m 5’8”) BUT it is not black! In the pictures it looks black with a silver sheen, in fact it’s more grey with a gold sheen. Fine if that’s the colour you’re looking for, but it’s not for me so it’s being returned.
