Leather Lace Up Brogue Boots

Got these on offer. Delighted, look very cool in jeans or dressed up with my recent MandS Harris Tweed. Did not even need broken in. A great replacement for my ageing MandS Chelsea Brogues.

I had been looking for a pair of heavy winter brogue boots with a goodyear welted sole and ideally a genuine itshide 'Commando' sole. The only boots that fit the description were either Grenson or Trickers at prices ranging from £235 to £350. I had seen these boots on the M&S site and having previously purchased two pairs of 'Savile Row Inspired' brogues from M&S I had no fears over the quality. My initial intention was to pay to have a Commando sole put onto them immediately (cost c£50 at most reputable shoe-repairers) as this would still represent a decent cost saving. When I then saw a 48hr 20% off online offer I couldn't believe my luck and the order was placed. Reviews of the previous purchased brogues suggested to go down a size which proved to be correct. On that basis I chose to do the same again with the new boots. In fairness they are a slightly smaller 7 than the Savile Row Inspired 7's but nothing that a brief 'breaking in' couldn't deal with. After a very brief trying on I took them to a local cobbler to have the Commando soles fitted and was advised to wear them first to break them in and to at least get some value from the existing high-quality leather soles. Taking advice I agreed to do so. Having now been wearing them for a week they have broken-in nicely and draw admiring glances. They look great with quality jeans but were worn yesterday at a wedding with a tweed suit and looked perfect. Very happy at the bargain price and the quality.

Very well made puts some high priced boots to shame

Excellent value for money, husband loved them and said they were very comfy fit.

Unfortunately had to return these, as the 10 was too big, and the 9 was too small for husband's feet. Shame they were not made in half sizes. Otherwise, absolutely beautiful craftmanship, incredible value for money and would be an excellent buy.
