Moisturising Aftershave Balm 100ml

I really like this after shave and have used it for quite a while. It feels good and the perfume is pleasant but not overpowering. However getting it out of the bottle is a challenge. You have to really shake it hard to get a decent amount out. It would be much better if it came in a squeezy tube like the 50ml size you put in gift boxes.

Terrible product, the actual balm is fine if a lot strong in scent. The problem is the terrible design of the bottle and stopper. Who designed it should be punched in the happy sack and fired. Almost impossible to use, bordering on deliberate if not wilful negligence. Terrible, worthless, frustrating, shoddy. Marks and Spencer quality? Nope far from it. Buy it as a gift for people you hate.

A lovely fragrance but what an absolutely appalling and useless design bottle. What is wrong with a pump action dispenser instead of a plastic stopper? You have to leave the stopper in to give it a shake - if you don't the fragrance leaks all over the top. So first you have to struggle to prise the stopper out with your nail, then you have to pat it into your hand - and the metal rim is SHARP! Having got the fragrance out if you haven't cut yourself the fragrance remains around the top of the bottle in a gooey mess and you spend the next couple of minutes cleaning it off - do not buy this product unless it is for someone you don't like!

How on earth do you get the top of the bottle off and then also use Autograph aftersahaving balm. Are there instuctions??

I have used this product for many years now and was surprised to see a review which said " Puzzled as how to get the contents on to hand, very frustrated as despite banging the bottle vigorously not a drop coming out" - but some wise person has decided to re-design a perfectly good bottle and the contents are very difficult to get out. One can only imagine the older more rounded bottle was more expensive to manufacture than the new square bottle - and the new design bottle costs £2.50 more than the old one. It doesn't make sense but I will no longer use this product which is a pity - I can never understand why Marketing people do this. Maybe someone can tell me ....

I thoroughly recommend this product. I use it very sparingly (enough to cover the flat end of a pencil), as a pre-electric shave cream, and it is better than any other pre-shave that I have used.

The smell is great, the cream is great, the overall effect is terrific once you get to the product but removing the stopper and shaking the bottle upside down each time you use it is a real pain, who left the pump dispenser off?

I bought this and the eau de toilette for my partner as his supply had run out earlier in the year. Buying the two ended up a great deal and delivery was free too. I love this smell and my partner does too. So much cheaper than branded aftershave products but smells nicer!
