Very nice, quality jacket.
Yes, I recommend this
Very nice jacket, good pockets including a useful zipped inside one. Hood inside the collar is handy. Sleeves are a bit long for me but maybe I've got short arms.

Excellent reinterpretation of the classic M-65
Yes, I recommend this
The Vietnam era m-65 field jacket has been reinterpreted by nearly every designer as its classic utilitarian design and looks have been seen in so many movies, from Taxi driver to Dead Man’s shoes . It’s been a constant addition to many wardrobes. There are websites devoted to this jacket, telling you it’s history, who has been seen in it etc. It has a cult following. (Something i never thought I would say about a simple jacket). So how have M&S done with their interpretation and what’s the differences from the original? The design is slightly more fitted especially around the shoulders, the cuffs do not have the fold over “flap” (thankfully) and obviously there is no removable liner. The addition of an inside pocket is great as the original only has the 4 outer pockets. Being made of nylon/polyester type material adds a lightness to the jacket and makes it appear far more tactical/technical. In my opinion this is one of the best M&S jackets I have ever seen and deserves a spot in your wardrobe, it looks good with almost anything. I went for the black version and layering it with a plain white T-shirt, 501s and desert boots immediately worked. I have already had two mates ask me where i got it? Buy it while you can, in fact buy two because when it inevitably ages, you will want another. It’s very well made and for £80 is a bargain. The M&S photos do not do this jacket justice
