Scoop Neck Maxi Dress

Loved this dress but had to return as, even though I ordered the long length,it was about 10cm above my ankle and looked silly (I'm 5'11)

Hey everyone - at the discounted price this was perfectly acceptable and will be a good "dress up or down" workhorse during the next few months. I have to tell you that I saw this at full price months ago - balked at paying so much for what is essentially a T-shirt dress - and chose to buy the Primark version for something like £12.00 instead. I am very happy with the purchase but would never have paid the original asking price. Hope that helps!

Normally I find M&S clothes a generous fit but this was rather small and far too clingy for my liking so it had to go back.

Ordered this in a 10 and 12. In theory I am a size 12, but it was too loose and gaping quite badly under the arms. Size 10 was much better, so am keeping that size.

Brought this dress last year, so easy to wear for day time and easy to dress up for evening. A must for every wardrobe.

Love, love, love this dress! Had one last year - wore it to death so very pleased to see it back again. Can dress it up or down, it's a very flattering style as it's slightly stretchy but only clings in the right places not the wrong ones (my bum & tum). I always wear it with something to cover the tops of my arms though. Fantastic value for money - my next purchase will be some of the other colours.

I absolutely love this dress. The fit is excellent. It can be dressed up or down. I plan to wear mine with the black diamante flip flops also purchased. More colours please.

This dress is not for the post-menopausal figure! A little more flare over the tummy would have transformed it. I intend to return this piece.

I love the look of this dress, but the length for ordering is a bit of a mystery, so ordered in short and regular, as well as regular in the peach. I am 5ft 4in. The peach regular length was ankle length but a bit tight (showing too many lumps and bumps) though a lovely colour. The black short was the same length as the peach regular, but like some other reviewers have noticed the seam under the arm was odd suddenly veering outwards. The neckline also did not sit right. The black regular fitted perfectly with no odd seams, the only snag was that it trails on the floor by about 4 inches. Because it fits so well I will have it shortened to ankle length, but I think there will be quite a few returns with this dress.

It's got a lovely soft feel, I'm 5ft 6in and went for the regular length which is perfect as it doesn't drag on the floor. This dress can be dressed up for an evening or worn as an everyday summer dress.
