1050 Pocket Spring Medium Natural Mattress

I bought this mattress to replace a 10-year old one. My previous mattress was of similar specification but showing its age. I therefore selected this one after a little online research. It’s just the right firmness for a side-sleeper like me. M&S describe it as being of medium firmness. However, I’d rate it as being very slightly on the firm side of medium which suits me perfectly. It’s a little Iighter than I expected, not that it’s a problem. On the other hand, it feels well-made and sturdy so I have no concerns about its durability. (The 10-year guarantee was one of the factors in my purchase decision.) There was an initial slight (but not unpleasant) smell as a few other reviewers have commented. However, it dissipated quickly and was unnoticeable 24 hours later. This mattress, like most, requires regular rotation lengthwise. On the other hand, there’s no need to turn it over. In summary, I’m absolutely delighted and will eventually replace it with a similar product. Incidentally, there were a couple of minor glitches with the delivery process but M&S customer services couldn’t have been more professional in resolving them. (Hats off especially to Danielle P. for her exemplary work.)

Looks amazing, good quality but like sleeping on bricks! Not comfortable at all, disappointed. If you want something hard, buy this. If you’re going for comfort…don’t. Unfortunately, hardness was not in the description!

Purchased this in the Black Friday sale at a very good price for our spare bed that we are using at present. Its firm but comfortable which pleases both of us!

Ordered a double bed, 4 by 6 and it was slightly smaller than said.

We were looking for a new inexpensive mattress for the spare room, but comfortable for all. We were unhappy that we were unable to find one this one to try in a store close, we were able to try a more expensive mattress in Bristol. After testing that one we decided to purchase the cheaper one. We are very happy with it even though I have only slept on for 2 nights.

Great mattress and even better value as bought in the sale. Very comfortable to sleep on. As soon as I lay on it I want to fall asleep. Fantastic.

I love my new mattress! The mattress was pretty hard at first but gets softer after a few days. Very comfortable. The delivery team was great.

Definitely a good quality mattress, it is heavy and the material feels great. There was no factory smell and I have been sleeping great since using it. Highly recommended.

Bought this matress 8 weeks ago and after unpacking strong farmyard smell. Left it 2 weeks smell still strong and after another 4 weeks no change with bedding and nightclothes smelling too. M & S arranged for techinician to examine (now 8 weeks) who confirmed Farmyard smell and that this was not normal after , but somehow report did not state this. Rang technician who confirmed farmyard smell and his report said that this was not normal. M& S will not replace without another visit which I have agreed to. Be very wary about strong smells from this matress which will also affect your bed linen and nightclothes!

Mattress arrived vacuum packed, left for a few hours before sleeping on it. It,'s extremely comfortable.
