I love this set, it is really good quality and good sizes.

Nice looking plates but the dinner plates are not fully stackable in the dishwasher. You have to skip two rows for every plate to stack them. The side plates are fine. Very sturdy and nice feel to it. The bowls are quite large.

This Amberley dinner set is just perfect. I bought it for my newly married son for his new home. The quality is very good and the colour is lovely. Now he can add to it at any time from M&S.

Bought two sets of these in the blue just after Christmas and we love them! Had to drive some distance to get two sets as they were out of stock on line and in most stores but glad I did - they seem to be back in stock now. We use them everyday and have had no problems with the dishwasher or storing them as some have described. There are differences in colour between some sets so of the ones that were available I opened a couple of boxes to get the best match - which was an exact match so all good. Very pleased. A number of compliments from guests when we have used them. We bought an extra plate/bowl in each size just in case of breakages in the future...

Lovely plates with a good lip. Excellent colour. Unfortunately after about one month, we put one of the plates in the microwave and large bubble appeared bang in the centre. Had to swap for another set - hence only 4 stars. Hope this new set don’t fail

We purchased two sets of this rather expensive dinner set. It was to replace old Denby and Sainsbury's plates and bowls. Love the look, weight and feel. We love the shine and how each one seems to be unique. They're kept in quite a cool cupboard, all dinner plates stacked in one, side plates stacked in two piles and bowls also in two stacks. Within 2 weeks 3 or the bowls had at least one chip along the rim. So we stopped putting them in the dishwasher thinking it couldn't handle the heat. Within the next 3 weeks 2 side plates chipped. Yesterday a dinner plate cracked in half, it had been sat in the top oven warming from the heat in the oven below it that was only on gas mark 4. These are super fragile, possibly a design or firing issue.

We’ve been looking for a new set of crockery for years, but until now have seen nothing that we liked as much as our trusty old Denby set. We’re very happy with these dinner plates, large side plates and especially the bowls, which are a really good size - so much so, that we’re about to buy another set. We also bought (separately) four pasta dishes, which are great too, though more like deep plates. We hadn’t seen these in our local M&S so were a bit surprised by the size, but have found them very useful. The crockery has been through the dishwasher several times now, and there’ve been no problems. The price is reasonable for the obvious quality, so would definitely recommend.

Was extremely disappointed as this is my second purchase of the Amberley Dinner set.. The first time round I was really pleased ,this second batch is a lot lighter in terms of the two colour on it,the blue part is almost sky blue whereas the first set was a deep blue,they are completely different to the first lot and there were several chips on different plates...I had waited so long to add them to my set as they had gone out of stick so thought if I return them it might be another wait and the quality might just be as poor so didn't bother returning them. Disappointed
