Disappointing purchase

I was extremely disappointed with this product. I suspected something was wrong when I saw the damaged outer sleeve and then unsealed inner packages. The cutlery came in two cardboard boxes. The sellotape securing them was already broken open. On inspection the quantity of different cutlery items were completely wrong with some items missing. I suspect the goods had already been returned and sent out again without rectifying the mistakes. It was fortunate that this was not a gift as we would probably not have checked the contents. I have now returned the goods for a refund. Not at all up to M&S standard.

the cutlery has a nice weight to it and looks stylish. happy to use every day or for a dinner party. we have only been using this for a week now and hope it doesn't taint or spoil in the dishwasher but so far it comes out clean and shiny. items can be polished after coming out the machine if any water marks show up but they easily come off.

The cutlery is lovely, however the 6 soup spoons were not included; Instead there were 12 dessert spoons. This meant making an inconvenient return journey to rectify the mistake. This should not happen, but if you buy this item, I suggest you check the contents before you leave the store.

Replacement cutlery set

I bought this set for my son a few years ago and was really impressed with the quality. When I decided to replace my own I chose these again. They wash well in the dishwasher without any streaking. The teaspoons are a little smaller than before. It would also be good to add to the range. My only complaint is that the delivery carriers gave me three separate times on three days. They did deliver on the second day but I did find it frustrating.
