All About Shadow™ Duo Eyeshadow 2.2g

I used the 'Nightcap' colour duo for years and loved it. It was discontinued recently and I cannot find it anywhere. I was recommended to substitute it with 'Wave after Wave'. That proved far too light and not a useful substitute at all. I would welcome something similar to 'Nightcap' being reintroduced.

I've bought this product numerous times in different shades. My favourite is 'Strawberry Fudge'. The pink shade is beautiful and with the darker shade applied to the outer corners of the eyes and swept in the eye socket, really makes my eyes pop. The texture of this product is so smooth to apply and it lasts all day. In previous duos, the applicator used to be a sponge applicator and a brush, although now it's just a double ended sponge applicator. Please can we revert back to the brush as I preferred to apply the darker shade with this. Also, previously I had this product in a shade that seems to have been discontinued - the two shades were a darkish brown and a flattering peachy orange shade - the name of this duo escapes me. I cannot fault this product and have used it for years and it's a product I will remain loyal to.

Was looking for a silver and grey type combination which I thought Wave After Wave would provide however both eye shadows are actually really light. Disappointing. Please do some darker shades!

Really useful litte kit, great especially for when you are just starting to experiment with blending different colours or if you just want a great everyday go-to, definitely recommend Seashell Pink/Fawn Satin. Shame though as they used to come with an amazing little brush/sponge applicator but now seems that both ends are just sponges which is next to useless as it means that you can't apply it nearly as well, but not a problem if you have your own brushes at home.

Bought the seashell palette and loved the colours when it arrived. However on using the paler colour it had a goldish shimmer to it. Horrible. The darker colour is great and the reason I kept the duo and it received two stars but expensive for the small amount of product I will use. Very disappointed.

I love the eye shadow duo in Strawberry fudge colour.Enough colour without being too dark or pale and doesn't irritate my sensitive eyelids.However it is proving increasingly hard to buy in my local department store.I've been waiting two weeks and still none in stock.

Very nice colors, good texture, easy to apply. I have sensitive eyes, but these shadows do not irritate my eyes, which is sooo amazing. I also use shadow base, so shadows stay all day.

I purchased the eyeshadow duo (Neutral Territory shade) in Boots, Glasgow yesterday. I bought as it looked grey and tested as a grey eyeshadow on my hand in the shop. However, when I brought it home and applied it this morning it changes from grey to a horrible reddish brown which makes my eyes look like they have been punched. I cannot believe the shade changes so profoundly and I am so unhappy with my purchase. However as I could not find the receipt in the bag with my product when I got home, Boots will not accept a return. I am very upset, I am not wealthy to go around wasting money on products to just have to through them out. I am a discerning Clinique customer who is completely loyal to the brand for my skincare and cosmetics purchases. Most of which I do online. I went to the store for eyeshadow as this was something I could not and would not select online as I could not see the colours firsthand. I am just so taken aback how an eyeshadow shade can change so profoundly when it is applied. I am a 46 year old woman and know how to select and apply eyeshadow shades that are suitable for myself and this is not it. I am also a qualified beautician and this is something I have never come across in all the years I have been buying cosmetics. I am deeply disappointed with the product and this purchase.

i love the texture of these eyeshadows literally so smooth and finely milled, feels like butter. but a negative is that some of the lighter shades aren't as pigmented and they can make darker skin look washed out.

I am very pleased with this purchase. The eyeshadow glides on smoothly and looks good all day.

Yes,i really love cliniques eyeshadow but...the darker shade should be the most amount of product not the lighter shade as like another reviewer stated as you all ways run out of the darker shade first,so in this case the single options are better value.

Lovely product, beautifully presented as one would expect, but, I obviously wasn't paying attention when I ordered, size of the darker colour minute by comparison, which will be finished much sooner than the high lighting shade.

I ordered a new "Wave on Wave" which I have been using for years and it has arrived in a different container, and although I ordered the colours stated on my original box, the colours have been changed and are now a different pair. Very disappointing, as I really liked the original colours.

When I received this product, firstly, as a new Clinique customer I was impressed with the packaging. It is simple and elegant but compact. The fact that there is a small mirror inside the lid is an added and unexpected bonus. There is a larger quantity of the lighter colour as you would expect (around 2/3 of the total). Both the lighter and darker colours and super easy to apply and go on smoothly and cleanly without dropping onto the lower eyelid. The colours themselves are lovely neutrals and as someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup they suit me down to the ground. However the darker shade may not be dark enough for those of a darker complexion or for those who like a more defined eye. The colours stay put all day and the applicator provided is perfect too. All in all I am very impressed with my first Clinique makeup purchase.
