Barbie Gymnast Playset (3-10 Yrs)

I am concerned and disappointed in the Barbie brand for not producing this doll with various skin colors. The “You Can Be Anything” should be inclusive of children from all backgrounds. “When a girl plays with Barbie, she imagines everything that she could become.” Does this motto not include my daughter?

My little girl adores Barbie and this is a great addition to her small collection of dolls. So many features and outfits, really nice set that she will play with for hours.

My daughter loves this barbie ! she loves barbie and does gymnastics herself, there are many props to make the game more realistic for her, for example the small touches such as the water bottle, or the medal, she also loves changing the outfits. my daughter has spent hours playing with this particular barbie and i dont see the fun stopping any time soon, would definatly recommend !!

My nearly 4 year old daughter loves this toy. There are numerous accessories so you can change what Barbie is wearing from her tracksuit to having different sparkly leotards and a sports bag to hold Barbie's change of clothing, water, snacks etc. There is also a beam, hoops and batons that Barbie can hold. Barbie is also very flexible so can be moved to be just like a gymnast. Definitely a winner in my house and has kept the my 4 year daughter entertained way longer than anything else has in a longtime. I would definitely recommend this toy.

Thea opened the toy this morning and she loved gymnastics Barbie right away , especially all the medals. She couldn’t wait to get it open. The bag that you can actually put the accessories, was a winner right from the start. She loved getting all the gym clothes and food and packing Barbie a bag ready to go. The spinner is a real plus and allowed her the come ups with lots of different moves. This gave her new way to play with her barbies on top of dressing them. After playing with gymnastic Barbie for a few minutes, Thea wanted to practice her own gymnastics moves! Lots of fun and seeing if she could do what barbie can!

I got this for my barbie obsessed daughter and she absolutely loves it!! Endless possibilities for hours of fun with the gymnastics barbie as she comes with various outfits and accessories which are all well made. A fully functional barbie gym bag to put the accessories in as well. The gym set also includes an attachable handle so that you can make barbie do cartwheels and spins etc. The hoops and batons have little clips / handles so you can attach them to barbies hands. They are quite delicate but it seems as though they are pretty durable. A lot of toy for the money, well worth it. I would buy again as a gift for my friends daughter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old daughter absolutely loves this Barbie. She is still playing with it 4 weeks later. Barbie is articulated in her shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees. Her hair is in a set bun (which still looks great after all these weeks of play). She comes with 2 leotards and a sweat suit set. The batons, hoops, medal, and trophy are very useful accessories that help with the imaginative gymnastic program. The clip to put around her waist so she will flip is the only area which needs improvement. The clip is impossibly stiff. Trying to affix it while Barbie is dressed, can be done if set on a side then rotated to not go over the Velcro closure. My daughter could not get it on but I was able to. The clip has been abandoned. Barbie constantly is high flying and being set up on the balance beam. My daughter gives this set a 10/10. I am very pleased with the quality and diversity of accessories.

My 4 year old loved changing her clothes, but had a little trouble getting the doll’s flexible arms through the sleeves! She also had trouble getting the clip on the doll’s waist to do “flips”. Overall, we would recommend this doll for any kids interested in gymnastics!

She enjoys the Barbie and the balance beam, but doesn't seem to care about all the little pieces (like the banana and the water bottle, etc.). She will likely "grow into" playing with all of those tiny parts. The doll itself is well-made and it is cool that it can bend in so many places - very different from the Barbies I grew up with! Overall, it is a good product.

Although the packaging was large, it was a perfect layout to get my daughter excited from the start- seeing the doll on the balance beam. She loves having two leotards to changer her into, and I love that there is a duffel bag for all the extra pieces!

We love how many accessories this doll comes with and my daughter has fun putting them in the duffel bag she comes with. She loves that the she can also make the barbie actually do flips and cartwheels with the clip that comes with her. You just clip it onto her waist and she can easily do flips. Her favorite accessory is the balance beam because she can make the barbie do cool tricks on it just like she does in gymnastics. All the joints of the barbie move so she can do alot of stuff and look more realistic doing it. This gymnastics barbie is alot of fun and my daughter loves it!
