Butterfly Lavender Planter

After 3 days it was half dead. Really poor quality.

Really poor .I bought a plant direct from store last year and was delighted . Ordered this one as a pressie for my mum and was really disappointed . Looked old and tired

I ordered this as a birthday gift for my sister in law and unfortunately she had to let me know it was dead when she received it.

Unfortunately the plant and tub were not as represented in the online picture. The pot was marked and was not the same gentle terracotta colour as online. The lavender was small and did not fill the tub as was illustrated online. It was a 70th birthday present. I was very disappointed.

I sent this to my son and daughter in law on the loss of their unborn child and I’ve just found out ( they didn’t want to upset me) today that the plant died within a week. This is very upsetting given I was hoping they would have something to remember their child by and not the quality I’ve come to expect from M & S I don’t usually write reviews but found it impossible to make an official complaint on line in any other way and I certainly did not want to waste time on the phone. I will not be buying these kind of items from M&S again.

Having looked for some planters on line I ordered these through m&s as I trusted your quality goods. Unfortunately i was very disappointed, firstly the terracotta pot had turned out to be a rattan basket which is very nice but not as desired or expected then to find that the plants are not up to standard either, i am currently trying to bring them back of life. Just so disappointed and would not order this type of goods through m&s again Claire

I received this plant as a present and was very disappointed that although I followed the care instructions the plant died within a week of me receiving it. The box was also damaged on arrival and the plant was not well packaged and it was lobsided in the pot and had compost spilling out

The above was being sent to a family friend as a 90th birthday gift. When it arrived it was almost dead. It was given care and attention but it continued to die within a week. I was upset as it was a gift for a special birthday and I could not be there.

Plant looked ok on delivery although compost had fallen out during transit. Unfortunately less than 2 days later the plant had failed to survive it's journey. Compost neither too wet or too dry but looked a very sorry state. Very disappointed.

Expected better from M & S for £28! There were 3 plants in the pot, one plant didn’t fit and was lay on top of the soil. It was also very lob sided. It had to be repotted the next day! Not an ideal present when it’s a diy project, hoping the one that was sat on top survives, apart from it being a gift by post, I could’ve got a larger one from a local garden centre. Disappointed.

I sent the lavender pot to my mum, as a little pick me up Because I haven’t been able to see her due to the lockdown. I Was able to visit her a week after delivery only to find the lavender (re pic) looking sad!

Really not clear that this item does not come with the terracotta pot illustrated - instead it came with the roots wrapped in a Yodel plastic bag! Very disappointing and misleading, I should have read the reviews but have always been very satisfied with M&S plants and flowers before. I trusted the illustrations and text which do not make clear that the pot is not included in the price.

The lavender although beautiful was not planted as such instead it was just dumped on top of the compost and not planted in. The pot was also too small for the lavender. If you are buying this as an ‘easy option’ already planted up present don’t bother.
