Checked Elbow Patch Blazer

Saw this jacket in store, loved it but decided to wait until I had a Sparks offer, waited so long that size 14 was no longer available! It came back in stock 2 weeks later so I decided to buy it full price. When it arrived one of the front seams was bit wonky making a bulge. Unfortunately my size was out of stock again (and still is) but as I liked it so much I unpicked some of the lining and rectified the fault which went against the grain but was successful. I agree that the elbow patches aren't quite in the right place - and as I have long arms are above my elbows. Love the colour and style. Maybe as in such high demand they are being made up at speed and with less care???

I ordered this jacket having seen it on line. It was just what I was looking for to wear with jeans. The fabric and styling are both good and a reasonable price too but the shoulders are undefined and it looked odd so sadly I returned it. I think it needs firmer shoulder pads.

Really pleased with this. It's a lovely fabric of a good weight, and I like the fitted style. Very good with trousers, and looks expensive. I've had lots of compliments.

Stunning jacket! Classic style with a flattering fit. It could probably do without the elbow patches but that was not a deal breaker for me. Looks lovely over jeans or smart trousers. I bought a size 14 and it is true to size. I often find M and S sleeves too long but there was no problem with this jacket. Good buy.

I was so pleased to find this jacket,loved the style——-BUT cut and seaming on left shoulder was terrible,seam stuck up in the air! Returned, and ordered anothe —-same result! All size 12 Tried a THIRD! With same result so have given up Store not very helpful just said sorry! I did not expect this from M & S,usually reliable Would love your comments,I wasted lot of time over this

Lovely item, smart or casual. personally could do with the sleeves being an inch or so longer.

The material is soft and comfortable and fits perfectly goes well with my skinny jeans. It is true to size ordered a size 8 and the sleeves fit perfectly as sometimes they are too long for me.

The fit was great, however for the cost the quality was rather poor. The elbow patches were not symmetrical and one say much lower and off to the side resulting in it not being an 'elbow' patch. The fabrics itself is decent and the chequered pattern classy enough. It's a pity the quality check was below standard. I returned my purchase because I couldn't forgive the obvious flaws in this coat.

Looks good with both jeans and smart trousers

Saw this jacket on line. Had been looking for a while for a jacket to take on a Cruise which I am now on. Just right for Autumn weather and a lovely colour. Would have liked just to be a little more roomy.

Really pleased with this jacket. It is quietly stylish and bang up to date.The material has a nice feel and is warm to wear. I love the elbow patches and piping and I have worn it several times already. Looks great with tops in camel, mustard and even yellow. Well done Marks, this is a great jacket at a very reasonable price.

The synthetic fabric did not hang well and looked liable to bobble, the shoulder pads looked lumpy. It was inexpensive, but looked even cheaper. Returned

Love this stylish blazer. It can be dressed up or casual with jeans & boots. I ordered a size 14 which is slightly big with just a T shirt but allows room to wear a jumper. If they'd had them in store I would have tried on a size 12

Lovely soft fabric and good sleeve length. I bought a 14 and excellent fit at waist and hips but not enough give in the back and front very ‘gappy’ above bust. Think the elbow pads could have been in a better fabric not the cheap imitation suede. Sadly had to return. Perhaps I got the Friday afternoon finished version!
