Checked Straight Fit Trousers

Although these fit well to the waist - need a mid rise - the inclusion of jetted pockets is not flattering for many females as many of us have a bit more tummy than we'd like! I'm an average size 16. Fabric quite thin but thought they would be ok in warmer weather. Short length is very long. Had the trousers fitted better I would have kept them and shortened the legs.M&S please do not put jetted pockets on so many styles.Would possibly recommend as would probably fit a smaller sized individual better i.e. flatter tummy

So pleased with these trousers. Perfect work-wear. Stylish, yet casual and very comfortable and flattering. Easy to wear with boots or heels, blouse/shirt or vest top and cardie. Ideal. :@)

Returned item as were very tight on my thighs and didn’t look right.

I like these they are a really good fit very comfy, if there are more of these out there, I would put them on my shopping list.

They are a little on the thin side but have a nice soft feel to them. So could be worn summer to autumn. Waist a little big but solved by putting on a belt. I think they will be worn a lot.

Check not too bold look good with boots or shoes. Haven't washed yet.

Fit well and look smart. A good buy.

I read the reviews before deciding to buy these trousers. They were very mixed but the style and the fact that were ‘work ‘ trousers I decided to give them a try. I bought a size 12 short length. They are perfect on me. I am only 5’2” so the short length was just fine . The waist is a exact fit, No need for a bulky belt. The fit around my hips and bottom is also good. Maybe I was lucky with these as I am fairly petite. If you like them do give them a try as they may work for you. It was the only pair of smart trousers that m&s had that I liked.

So disappointed with these trousers. Really baggy fit. Not very flattering at all. Returned them for money back.

Bought these to match the jacket. I do not like the narrow leg ankle grazes and these trousers in short size fit ideally. They can be worn with shoes, trainers or ankle boots, so will be ideal for cooler weather. Very comfy to wear and have had compliments paid on " the look."

Look like ankle length on the model - ordered a short as I’m 5 2” and they were at least 4” too long. Possibly labelled wrong, had to return. Not the first time I’ve had this issue with trousers from M&S either - sizing is very inconsistent. Nice enough otherwise - but run a bit small resulting in a less “relaxed” fit around the legs than shown here.

I have to say I was a bit disappointed as I always buy clothes from you and these were not for me as they were much to big and baggy on me even though I always buy the same size but I suppose we are not all the same I am a bit petite so that was it is.
