Cotton Rich Velvet Overcoat

Gorgeous coat. My daughter already wants to steal it from me!

Good quality jacket - just unfortunate i found it on the white stuff site at half price.

New year new me. Wanted to buy something out of my comfort zone when it came to style and fabric. Great fit. Can be dressed up or down. I bought mine when it was on offer, I liked it so much I bought another. I’ve got it in purple and ochre.The cotton rich velvet feels really plush.

Not worth the money. Thin material, crumples and ill fitting.

Bought this via M&S website, couldn’t wait to try it on. The pockets are temporarily stitched closed and can be opened if you want to use them - which I did. I’d also read a few reviews before buying but thought there’d been some mistake. So, one pocket was fine but the other wasn’t finished, found my hand went straight through, ending up behind the coat lining. On checking it I can see it’s just not been finished properly. Not ripped or anything just not finished. For the price I’d say I’m shocked at this. I bought another one and had exactly the same thing happen. White stuff weren’t interested as I’d bought it through markies. It’s their product though So back it went. Be wary of buying it. Unless you’re happy to stitch the pockets yourself for that cost.

Looked good in photos This coat isn’t well tailored Ive previously purchased coats & jackets It doesn’t fit well and I’ve been disappointed so wish I’d returned but as I was going away the weekend before Christmas I didn’t An expensive purchase not to wear

Beautiful coat fits well and true to size. Not too bulky, just wish that the velvet was a little softer. Lovely teal colour

Lovely coat, easy to throw on and great colour (pink). Comes up roomy. Originally ordered a 14 from Whitestuff on their advice (even though I’m a size 12) but much too large so then found the same coat at M&S and ordered a 12 - still big enough to fit over a jumper . Was very creased when it arrived and looked awful but steamed creases out easily so that it looked smart.

Disappointing Quality. I have bought these coats in the past and loved them. This is changed design, the fabric is very thin and lightweight. Coat is now very boxy and shapeless and a really strange cut. Pockets are high up and sit under the ribs rendering them unusable. Definitely not up to the original WhiteStuff quality we have come to expect. Even at 25% off it’s not worth the money. Returned.
