I have these cardis in almost every colour available but have noticed fabric and buttons have changed. Not as soft or classy. Good value but a shame the buttons are plain and boring now. They were once small and fabric covered

Always loved these classy cardigans and have had many over the years in various colours. Nice weight, strong olive green colour. 4 stars because I’m not a fan of the bigger buttons which look a bit clumsy and the new wider button seam/plackett. Much prefer the old bobble button style which were easier to use.

Vibrant and great quality cardigan
Good quality with a great choice of colours. Also nice finish with ribbon button front and deep cuffs. Perfect as a button up jumper or caual cardigan.

A very nice, everyday cardigan , with a good range of colours. I would have given it a 5* but, again, M&S packaging is awful. Both cardigans arrived very creased and had to be ironed.

I have lots of these cardigans and purchased the olive green in my usual size 12. Disappointed with the fit as it was too big and the colour was really drab, more of a sludge green than olive which I tend to think should have a very slight yellow undertone, it looked nicer on the website than in real life. M&S seem to be changing everything for the worse, classic staples I used to buy with confidence are no longer what they once were. Lots of disappointing things in terms of quality and fit recently. Sadly these cardigans don’t seem to be for me anymore unless I try on in store to get the correct fit, and no longer any nearby stores which is a nuisance. Have returned this item which is something I wasn’t expecting to have to do.

Lovrly Cardi But This One Made Small

I bought several different colours in a size 12. I am a size 10 but have long arms. The pistachio cardi is smaller than the others by too great a margin, see photos. Perhaps this is a one-off inconsistency but I'll have to return it as there is no way I am buying a 14 and it seems exchanging isn't an option with no local store. As the others are absolutely fine, it just seems that quality control has let us down in this one. A shame, as it's a lovely colour. PS couldn't leave review without completing comment on washing. I haven't washed it so have no views.

Loved prior purchases of this style cardigan, however have found recent purchases too large, rather baggy around the chest and waist area. Returned the item and purchased a a smaller size, better but still loose. New styling does not compare favourably to previous years.

I bought three of these cardigans in a size 12. Black, navy and light pink. The light pink one comes with a ribbon down the opening and is much bigger than the other two. I wish that I got a size lower.

Crew neck, quite smart cardigan

This cardigan has several plus points. It’s a new colour, it’s a nice soft yarn with a subtle sheen to it, I especially like that the front seams with the buttons and the button holes, are reinforced with tape which gives them strength and shape. Sadly it was very creased when I unpacked it, if I’d bought it in store I don’t think that would have been the case. I like it a lot though so it will be a nice addition to my autumn/winter wardrobe. I hope the creases come out.
