CURVE Checked Long Sleeve Shirt

I’d read the reviews and wish I’d taken more notice. Loved all the other Curve shirts I’ve bought but this one was a huge disappointment. There is no style to the fit at all. Sorry M&S but this one is just wrong.

Lovely fabric, nice length, looks great with jeans. THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE SHIRT IN THE WORLD. Whoever designed this never asked the models wearing it if it was comfortable to wear, the dropped sleeves are hemmed half way down the top of the arm, when you move your arms forward ( driving, writing etc) the seam tightens and acts like a tourniquet across the biceps! Very badly cut as the sleeves aren't tight at all, really loose but the cut of the seam is truly dreadful. It's going back.

Why on earth has the designer messed around with the armholes on this shirt? I have now bought several shirts from the Curve range and one thing I liked about all of them was the neat and tidy way the sleeves fitted - even though catering for larger sizes. The dark green tartan shirt was a winner and I'd hoped that this would be similar. No way - fabric not as good, design poor and actually the quality of the finish not up to normal M&S standards.

Although the cosy fabric is the same as the lovely navy and green check shirt, it is a different shape. It's not readily apparent from the single photo that it's cut with dropped shoulder sleeves and all that entails with the bust darts. It also does not have the side slits, not needing them as it's so voluminous., however it may possibly work in a smaller size. I still think it's value for money but not to my taste and will be returned.

This was far too big and too long.
