Bitzee Digital Interactive Pet (5-8 Yrs)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had the opportunity to try the Bitzee Interactive Digital Pet and my 9 year old really liked it, there are 15 different types of pets available for you to look after. It's great to be able to pick a pet and look after them, care for them and play with them, you can even pet them which makes them so much better than the tamogotchi where you just look at a screen, my daughter loves you can unlock outfits for them. It comes in a lovely little case which can be taken on the go with you. It has kept my 9 year old and 7 year old entertained. I do wonder though once you have super sized all 15 pets if the novelty will wear off or will they continue to use.

There are many different pets to collect and interactive making it so fun! It is eye catching and really easy to use. I'd definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon initially receiving this, my child was full of excitement, so much so the games console was put down to check it out…. Winner! Then proceeded hours of play before bedtime. As a child they didn’t look at the instructions so the tutorial on opening was really helpful, although my child had no idea that’s what they were being shown so I did need to repeat this to show them how to do different things. There does seem to be multiple things such as feeding, petting, playing games etc to keep children entertained. My child did find it tricky to do the petting as they could never get their finger in the position to register, mum to the rescue! As an adult this very much reminded me of a 2024 version of a tamagotchi something which I loved as a child, although this was has the feature of collecting multiple pets not just growing the one. Upon seeing the leaflet (in the end) and realising that these animals level up and rare ones can be collected my child was hooked on collecting the full set. Cue 2 days of intense interaction with the toy and lo and behold he had collected all the animals and made them supers. Question is now that in effect he has completed it somewhat what will happen to it next? I think to bring some longevity to this product the power ups and animals found need to have longer time between them or the option of having infinite number of pets, maybe swooping some out etc just to keep the product fun and engaging as now all the animals have been collected and made supers I’m not sure what encouragement there is now to play with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tought digital pet means there's a little screen where you can see the pet, but not in that case, as it a waving led stripe which displays pets I think. It allows you to 'pet' your pet which I assume is fun in some way. I liked the first impression when you pull a stripe before opening the box and it says hello :) In general my daughter loved it. Getting pet to grow and achieve new levels really kept her occupied. I think you want to play until you get all the pets turned into super heroes which is they biggest stadium of their growth. On the dowside all the pets have their food assigned and fish is paired with sushi which didn't seem right to a 9 year old. For myself toy is a bit louder than I would like, voices itself and the waiving stripe makes noise as well, as I said I thing regular digital display would be more appealing,but then you couldn't interact physically with your animals which is a part of concept. My girl likes it and that all what matters with toys :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well this is certainly giving me the feelings of nostalgia, it reminds me so much of the beloved tamagotchi! I adored mine & now my daughter adores her bitzee, You can choose one of 15 pets, the unicorn being my daughters favourite, she loves watching them turn into supersize, as she knows she’ll get a surprise, like a new outfit. I’m still miffed at how it all works to be fair & why nobody thought of it sooner! A great toy to sit and enjoy with your child.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fantastic toy. It’s like a modern day tamagotchi. Hours of fun. The only downside is the cost. It seems fairly breakable with the fragile screen and for the price something a bit more hard wearing would be better as despite the instructions saying not to touch the led part, small children are inquisitive and will naturally want to.

It has various different animals, rabbit, lizard, hedges and more you can play various games with and look after by feeding, cleaning up mess, and petting. It sends a notification when opening the lid to let you know what it needs. Hours of fun and gives your little ones a sense of responsibility, which is fab thanks so much spinmaster for such a cool toy!!!! Go and get one your kids will love it

My little boy loved it a first but hasn’t really played with it since. I think it was a 5 minute wonder with him. The idea is very good and you can do different thing with it. Perhaps suited for younger children my one is 10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter absolutely loves this bitzee it's so easy to use and she has been having so much fun being interactive by feeding, playing games and putting the pet to sleep. You get to choose from a range of pets such a butterfly, unicorn or even a cat there are so many choices. For what it does it is very reasonably priced. I have gone out and bought one for the niece after seeing how much my daughter loves it.

I love the fact that you can have 15 different pets and teach the child how to interact, feed, and play, and the more you play, the more the pet evolves. Teaches children how to look after and care. It's like the tamagochi of the times just better. Love the packaging and the pull tab to see what it does before opening it, adding to the excitement. The only downside would be I wouldn't recommend if you have a heavy hanglded child as the way you pet the animal I think would break easily but all in all a great product. Perfect for on the go, small handy fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was gifted in return for a review. My 4 year old son loves playing with it and is constantly asking to play with ‘my new puppy’. It’s very similar to another retro brand of ‘pet’ IYKYK in the way that you have to care for it and feed it etc but I’m honestly not sure why they made it as a LED/LCD screen that essentially flaps fast and why they didn’t just use a screen inside the lid? It would be less likely to be broken by kids.. but to be fair it seems robust so far as my son isn’t exactly the most gentle child to have ever had it, but he’s actually been good with it so far

My daughter was so excited to open it and loves going through all the different options and looking after your pet and unlocking new ones it’s just brilliant. I would 100% recommend this you won’t be disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Me and my kids love this! It’s incredible that you can have a digital pet that you can stroke! Very similar to the old school tamagotchis, with different pets to get, feed and love. The girls love it so much I’ve had to buy another one so they don’t fight and they show off their pets to their friends. Honestly great ljttle toy! The lid shuts which helps battery and to transport. Wish I had this when I was a kid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy was on my daughter'sbirthday wishlist, so we are very gratefulto havebeen given the opportunity to test it! She takes her pet everywhere with her and genuinely considers it to be her real pet. She loves showing it off to whoever she can. This is such a clever concept and is definitwly a step up from the likes of other digital pets. She especially likes to stroke it. There are plenty of pet options to choose from and is interactive in many ways. Although after a while it can get repetitive, it has still provided hours of fun.
