Product code: T233655F
This lightly scented, skincare classic, calms, protects and hydrates skin for up to eight hours.
Eight hour® cream is the legendary, award-winning skin protectant that does more than soothe sun-burned skin, rehydrate chapped lips, and heal rough elbows and calluses. It’s also the secret that makeup artists all over the world use for keeping legs, lips and eyelids shiny; eyebrows in place; and cuticles perfectly manicured. There are an infinite number of ways to use this classic cream. The legend created in 1930 by Elizabeth Arden herself to soothe skin, eight hours® cream skin protectant became an instant and overwhelming success. What made it so effective? A combination of petrolatum, a skin-soothing beta-hydroxy -- debuting in one of its first cosmetic uses -- and vitamin e. The apricot-colored balm was so beneficial to her clients that miss arden even used it to soothe her famous thoroughbred horses' legs. Even its name came about thanks to a remarkable performance – a loyal client used it to treat her child's skinned knee and "eight hours" later, the skin was all better.

Eww!!! The smell is the absolute worst! And if you look at the ingredients, it says it contains mostly petroleum! NO THANK YOU!!! It's so sticky, too! You have to scrap it off your skin.

Great Product, Awful Smell

Good product, terrible smell. I couldn’t use this at all, I really don’t know why it smells as bad as it does as EA products are lovely. Even the sample of the unscented one smelt awful, cannot even begin to describe the smell, just really odd. If you like a product to either smell nice or fragrance free then please give this a miss as you will be very disappointed. But Customer Services amazing as always and offered me a full refund within hours of me contacting them. But please EA, maybe think about changing the smell of this product, if possible.

I wanted to give this a try since I enjoy the original but feel the scent could be a touch too strong. This does not smell good at all. I'm going to keep using it because it still works but will be doing so begrudgingly. I think the term "lightly scented" is not accurate. It smells like lanolin or animal oil.

Vaseline with a terrible smell

Smells like a waterlogged boat. It may work, but the smell is a game changer in a bad way

Always loved eight hour cream for everything from insect bites to sunburn, as well as everyday use. But like the lightly scented even better as the original version smell could be a bit overpowering

This is my magic cream. It is more like a gloss than a cream and it is transparent. I use it on my lips and any other dry areas of skin. It can feel a little greasy but that soon disappears

Have used for burns for years.
Originally posted on elizabetharden.com
I've used variations of this since I was a youth for burns. Recently had a burn and raced upstairs to see if I still had some of the smelly grease. Yep, I did and the burning stopped. No blister. So I went online to see if you still made it. Got the no fragrance. Sure hope it works as well as the old jars.

I have been using Eight Hour Cream for over 50 years. I have my entire family hooked on it. The last two tubs at different…actually really bad and not usable. The consistency is liquidy and very gritty almost like there is a sand substance in it. I purchased these tubes at different times so the batches are not the same. I mentioned it to my girlfriend and she said she stopped using it because she said “they must have changed the ingredients “ This is so not good. I consider to be a cult user but I can not use these two tubes. Before tossing two brand new tubes, can I get an explainstion? Please bring back the primal that was like a rich thick butter!
