Evie Dogtooth Straight Leg 7/8th Trousers

I bought theses after buying pair of black Evie trousers. The style is brilliant for someone with chunky thighs and legs as they give plenty of room around the hips, thighs and calves. They can be dressed up or down. I've worn them with flats and heels. If you like a neat/tight pair of trousers these are not for you but if you are fed up of trying to buy trousers that don't squeeze the life out of you and are modern - buy these. Well made, great material and style. A great length for a 5ft 4" larger lady !

Thank you M&S, I love these trousers! The fabric feels gorgeous and really great quality. I especially love the contrast print pattern waist band and the strip down the leg. The high waist and overall cut is as comfortable as wearing joggers but looks so much more elegant. The length is perfect. I’ve had so many compliments already.

The material of these trousers is a lovely weight so that the trousers hang well. They are a pure white and black check rather than offwhite and black check.They are smart and look good with a variety of different coloured jumpers. I have not washed them yet so cannot comment on whether they wash well.

I really liked the look of these trousers. On the description it said the waist was elasticated- it isn't. Too tight on the wsist for me so sadly had to go back.

These are so comfortable and an excellent fit. I usually struggle to find trousers that do not swamp me as I am quite short. 7/8 trousers regular length were the perfect answer.

The fabric feels lovely!

I really like the range of Evie trousers and these are no exception. The 7/8ths length is great. I am a size 10 short and they fit perfectly. They are good value for money especially as I bought them with my Sparks 20% off. I wasn’t too sure about the stripe down the side at first but I like it very much now as it seems to lift them above the ordinary. Please don’t stop making the Evie trousers. They wash well and don’t really need ironing.

I've bought two pairs I like them so much.

I really do love all these Evie style trousers as l feel they are like a made to measure pair of trousers for me. The Newcastle stylist Katrina had these out for me and suggested i wear a bright colour jumper with them instead of the usual black or white. I tried them on with a bright green one and they really lifted them. I get my normal size but a regular length instead of short which l am as l will be wearing boots with them I love that all the checks match up.

I really liked these trousers on the hanger, but they just don't suit my body shape. They bunched up around the top and looked a bit comical, which wasn't the 'look' I was going for for work!

I have another pair of Evie style trousers which are great so ordered these but they're not for me and are going back. I wear regular length so ordered long length as I don't want 7/8ths trousers and they're a perfect length. However, they're around an inch bigger than my other Evie trousers around the waist. They also have a stripe of one of the fabrics down the sides which I didn't notice in the photos. It makes it look very 'busy' and not as stylish as if they were all in the one fabric. The extra seams and material on the sides also makes them bulky and they weren't flattering on me. The material is lovely and thick for winter so it's a shame but they're not for me.

I’m a large 12 apple shape and these in a 12 fitted well. The cut and finish on the trousers is very good - checks all matched at side seams, across the front etc. I just wasn’t sure about a straight leg in a crop on me. I’m 5’8”” and got these in a 12long and couldn’t work out if they needed to be shorter or longer. In the end I exchanged in-store for a pair of Mia crops which I love and seem to work better for my shape and size.

I know Evie style trousers suit me. I bought these in the long length knowing they will fit as full length trousers. Bought for work when it's a bit cooler. Might be a bit fuller in the leg than other Evie trousers but I'm pleased with them. Not worn nor washed yet but I'm sure they will wash well. I do feel smart in my Evie trousers,

These trousers are a great fit. I bought the tall version for work, and they are proportionate for a tall person (no uncomfortable digging in the ribs etc), and they look smart. They feel so much more quality than others I have had in a similar pattern, and I love them!
