It's quite glossy and after using for a few months the surface gets scratched, but circular tables are very economical for space and it's well put together.

Really pleased with this table, it is just what I was looking for. Good quality and great price. Central leg gives you flexibility around chair position. Would have referred a matt/satin finish but I can live with the gloss. Works really well in our kitchen.
